Loft room is truly amazing. Great breakfast, although lack of champagne for breakfast was quite a dissapointment. Selection of cheese might be better. Spa is nice, but pretty small. Dinner is good. Amazing deserts. Very Viennese dining hall. Good value for money.

we waited 40min for our waiter ti come to our table.He even looked at my father and ignored him. Teribble would not recommend.

Stayed two nights in the grand heritage protected Imperial hostel, built in 1885 and the second oldest hotel in Opatija. Gorgeous large room, ornate plaster on walls and ceiling, impossibly high ceilings, modernised with air conditioning. Has an excellent Wellness Centre with attentive staff and the breakfast is expansive and quite extravagant.
