Gravity Hotel & Aqua Park Sahl Hasheesh

Very average hotel even though the pics look amazing online. Rooms Rooms are very hit and miss. Some nice and some were an absolute joke. We were given room 2187 and was told it was one of the 'best' rooms. Room was in a general state of disrepair. The bathroom was dirty with mould inside and outside of the shower door. The air condition was leaky and there were ants crawling on the floor and the bed. Went to reception and they told us there was nothing they could do till 2pm the next day so had to wait about an hour for a cleaner to come and clean the bathroom and get rid of the ants. We then changed rooms the next day to a much better room. Food Try and book the a la carte if you can for most of your stay. The main buffet restaurant is hit and miss and I would say stick to hot/fried foods if you can. Our friend got food poisoning early on in our stay. Pool and snack bars are ok serving burgers and chips and pancakes. Facilities Beach was gorgeous with snorkeling opportunities. Pools were great. Aqua Park slides were fantastic but the stairs leading up to them are filthy and need a good scrub. Night time entertainment was good.

Great hotel, pool parks and great variety of food. Staff is very friendly especially the gentlemen in the main restaurant. The rooms do need updating and food in Al a Carte restaurant could be better but greatly diverse in main restaurant. Pools are nice and plenty of room

Had a very nice time here staff were very welcoming and very helpful the entertainment team were very good and shows were entertaining and interesting would recommend.

Everything was perfect! The food was delicious and varied, the pools were great for the kids, and the room was spacious. Our housekeeper, Raghab, deserves a 10 out of 10.

Gravity sahl hasheesh is in a lovely, quiet safe area with its own private beach and snorkelling areas. We were actually meant to be at gravity hurghada so we were not prepared, and the remoteness of the hotel was initially seen as a negative. The staff at this hotel are what really make it special. A special mention to Keralos at the activity pool who brought us drinks daily and always welcomed us with a smile and a friendly word , Ahmed at the quiet pools and splash bar who was so friendly and welcoming and both worked so hard in the searing heat every day. The pool attendants and life guards at the activity pool were so vigilant and constantly bringing loungers and umbrellas for guests. Hassan at guest relations made sure we were always happy and helped for a smooth check out on the final day. One thing I really liked here was the drinks. So much better than a lot of the places we have visited and each waiter/bar tender would make you their special cocktail. The hotel and grounds are immaculately clean and it’s good to have a choice of à la cartes to go to. The Asian and Italian being our favourites. The animation team worked hard to make sure everyone was joining in and there was always something to do. Some of the evening entertainment was good but like any hotel, it’s not for everyone. And things tend to die off around 11pm. The animation do organise nights out to night clubs which we enjoyed but it is generally about 30-40mins away. The food in the restaurant is generally good and it was great to see fresh meat or fish being carved every day. The main downside was there is only one buffet restaurant and it’s chaos. They definitely need more staff to help with the clearing and resetting of tables. We did like however the choice to be able to sit outside and there is also a terrace bar with lovely views. The room we had was very basic and would benefit from some updating but was kept clean with daily fresh towels and water and interestingly you could plug in uk plugs. This is generally a lovely hotel but the basic rooms do let it down a little and the restaurant layout could be improved. The staff at this hotel is what would make us return
