Excellent from start to finish. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Could not fault it Staff on front desk were always attentive and not on a rush. Well done to the hotel team. Will definitely 💯 go back Very good choice of food Only that all dining rooms abroad should have microwaves

We just completed a one week stay at Hilton Hurghada Plaza, and I wanted to give a balanced review. There are definitely things we enjoyed, but also several areas where the hotel could improve significantly. The hotel is generally attractive, with lovely views, clean rooms, very comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. The beach and sea are absolutely stunning, and the gym is good. A special mention to the omelette chef, who was consistently friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, if you have any concerns, raise them immediately with the Operations Manager or Duty Manager. Once they were aware that we weren’t happy, they acted quickly and were genuinely helpful, which made a difference to our stay. The main pool is the only central pool and is always very busy. The pool toilets were also dirty and need more frequent attention. Bar service was consistently poor across the pool, beach and lobby bar, with long waits and limited staff presence. For a five-star resort, I would expect proper pool and beach service. There’s two all inclusive packages the standard one and ultra all inclusive. The all-inclusive alcohol offering is limited to local drinks, which we found poor in quality. Even if you upgrade to ultra, I don’t think it’s worth it. Food in the main buffet was very hit and miss. To be fair, the chefs generally tried to please guests, but the restaurant is extremely busy and the buffet is spread over a large area, making it quite chaotic. The late-night buffet was particularly disappointing. The food didn’t appear fresh and was not properly labelled. We also ate at the Turkish and seafood restaurant and found the food disappointing, with particularly slow service when dining from the All Inclusive set menu. The coffee facilities also need attention — half of the coffee machines didn’t work, which caused additional queues and frustration at breakfast. Some of the beach sun loungers are broken and need replacing. The hotel grounds are lovely but the layout can be a logistical nightmare. Getting from the beach to the main pool, for example, requires going via the lobby. There is also no proper orientation or overview when you arrive, which would be helpful in explaining where everything is. The La Perla Spa was one of our biggest disappointments. The sales staff were extremely pushy and the therapists were loud and rough. A spa should be relaxing, not somewhere you feel pressured into purchasing treatments. The animation and entertainment also need significant improvement. The entertainment was below average and the programme wasn’t always consistent. For example, aqua gym was advertised but didn’t take place, and there wasn’t always clear information about where activities were being held. A member of staff approached me asking me to leave a positive review for her whilst she watched over me! How the hotel could improve: • Improve the late-arrival food offering - Fresh food that’s clearly labelled • Train front desk staff to provide a seamless arrival experience and a proper resort orientation. • Staff appropriately for occupancy - if the hotel is at full capacity, additional staffing is essential. • Introduce a good pool and beach service. • Have a front-of-house member at the main restaurant to help guests find clean, properly set tables. • Keep all coffee machines and guest facilities operational and improve cleaning of the pool toilets. • Address bathroom plumbing and maintenance issues promptly. • Replace broken beach sun loungers. • Review the spa provider and remove the aggressive sales approach. • Improve the animation team’s training and ensure advertised activities actually take place and provide the location • Extend the evening entertainment in the lobby bar until around midnight. The singer is actually very good, but currently performs from 7–8pm when most guests are eating. Later entertainment would create q good atmosphere. Hilton Hurghada Plaza has the foundations of a really good resort such as beautiful beach and sea, attractive grounds, comfortable rooms and some genuinely lovely staff. However, the service levels, staffing, food consistency, cleanliness, maintenance, entertainment and overall organisation don’t match what I would expect from a five-star Hilton. My biggest advice to future guests is don’t expect a global Hilton standard. With some relatively straightforward improvements, this hotel could be significantly better.

Just back from a week in the Hilton Hurghada Plaza, all inclusive. It's a big hotel with 3 different pools, private beach, harbor, spa & other facilities. It can seem a little overwhelming when you get handed the map but it is quite easily navigated. The most outstanding thing about this hotel is the staff. The hospitality is outstanding. So many to mention: Jameel in houskeeping with amazing towel art; Abdulbasset & Ahmed in the restaurant; Saeed, Abdo, Mohamed, Moustaffa, Isis & Aya in the lobby bar; Ibrahim in the pool bar; Ahmed & the team of lifeguards ..... The list goes on (& apologies for my likely poor spelling). They are an absolute credit to the hotel. It was extremely busy (to be expected in August!) especially with families & kids - slightly overwhelming at the Blue Fin pool at times but it is the local school holidays. The staff all made sure we were looked after & not wanting for anything. The terrace at night is beautiful. We didn't go down to the stage for the entertainment but it sounded great! The entertainment team clearly work their socks off & it isn't invasive as we've found in other places. Our room was lovely & spacious. Love the shower set up - it's an overhead waterfall which is actually beside the bath in a sort of wet room set up. Lovely balcony with a sea view. I went to the Spa twice - be careful of Abdul, he'll talk you into all the treatments!! & they're fantastic! Magda gave me the most amazing massage. Dive And More is based down at the harbor. We booked with them twice for a boat trip & horse riding which were amazing. Really good value & a great day out. The only thing we found slightly difficult was reception. Any interaction we had with them wasn't the most helpful. Quick tip: if you feel unwell or need any toiletries at any point there is a City Mall right beside the hotel with a pharmacy on the RHS as soon as you go in. They have a pharmacist & a great range of products. There is a doctor on site but if it's something minor I'd go there first!

An exceptional stay at Hilton that truly deserves recognition From check-in to check-out, the service was outstanding on every level — professional, attentive, and genuinely warm. Special thanks to “Dina Ehab”, Shift Leader at the hotel, who was truly a role model in hospitality. She went above and beyond with every request, personally followed up on every detail, and handled everything with remarkable grace and a sincere smile throughout the stay. Having staff of this caliber makes a real difference in the guest experience. My appreciation also goes to Hilton’s management for having such capable team members, and I hope this level of service continues.
