Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort

I had an amazing experience at Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety every day. My family and I especially enjoyed the aqua park and evening entertainment — there was always something fun to do. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was organized perfectly. I’m truly happy with the service and hospitality, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed In . Entertainment team are fantastic and very friendly. Hotel staff are a whole different level u are treated like royalty from the moment u arrive to the minute u leave . The fair and bf room are amazing and all in with the price this hotel I look forward to coming back next year with more of the family . Rooms are cleaned everyday and to the best level . Food is good but if u have fussy eatters bring some bits

I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel, and there are several reasons why. I'm not someone who complains for the sake of it, but after spending around £5,000 for a package holiday for two adults and two children, I expected a much better experience. In my opinion, this is a 3-star hotel at best, and even that feels generous. The food is extremely repetitive – day after day it was chicken and rice, beef and rice, with very little variety. The drinks are probably the worst I've experienced at any all-inclusive resort. We've travelled to many places around the world, and we've ended up buying our own alcohol from local shops and drinking bottled water most days because the drinks at the hotel were so poor. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll ever return to Egypt. Throughout our stay, it often felt like English guests were treated differently, with one set of rules for us and another for everyone else. That was disappointing and left a bad impression. The lifeguards looked like they hated their jobs and were some of the rudest staff members we encountered. They certainly didn't make our holiday any more enjoyable. The entertainment team did try their best, but they clearly lacked the facilities and support to create a good atmosphere. Around the main pool there was very little going on, and there was almost no atmosphere throughout the day. There could have been far more entertainment and guest involvement. One example was when football was briefly shown on the big screen above the Melody Bar while staff recorded videos for social media, only for it to be switched off immediately afterwards. The rooms are very dated and in need of refurbishment. They also regularly smelled of sewage during parts of the day, which was very unpleasant. To end on a positive note, the staff in the Melody Bar and the lobby bar were excellent. They were friendly, hardworking and provided the best service we received during our stay. We also booked a private boat trip through Sky Excursions, who visit the resort, and that was the highlight of our holiday. I would highly recommend that experience. However, the quad and buggy excursion was very disappointing and wasn't worth the money. We've stayed at many resorts in Turkey, where we've consistently had fantastic holidays, so we have plenty to compare this experience with. My advice would be to do plenty of research before booking this hotel. We travelled with TUI as a package holiday, and sadly it did not live up to our expectations

Excellent location. Very clean. Rooms cleaned daily and we love our little towel art every day! Large selection of pools and waterslides. Free towels every day for the pool and plenty of sunbeds and beanbags around the pools. Staff are so friendly. Went to the Neverland Show which was free with Tui which consisted of a girl singing quite a lot and then some dancers and acrobatics who were quite impressive. Got served drinks and a meal and had a free goody bag with a his and hers cover up. Show started around 7pm and finished at 10pm. Access to beach is via a bus which is the easiest way in this heat and it picks up and brings back every half hour. You then have access to the sister hotel beach albatross. You can pick up towels from here too and there is a designated part of the beach you can use. Here you can snorkel which we did a few times on the right side of the jetty. If you enter the sea to the left you have the lifeguard whistling at you to say you can't swim even though there are signs saying its at your own risk. The beach to the left does not belong to pickalbatross. We did however go rockpooling here and found so much....we saw starfish,phlegm flatworms (they look as gross as it sounds) urchins,neon tetras. Some evenings we would catch a local bus for 50egp to Sheriton road where all the shops are to try and haggle the prices on bags,belts and tshirts. Some of the boutique shops just off the main roads where there were more locals seemed to be better prices as they were fixed prices. One shop on the main road wanted £60 per bag for a designer fake yet down the side street same bag for £18. Some of these places seriously take the p***. Exceptional hotel though can't fault it although neither one of us escaped having a bit of an upset tummy!

We liked everything. Luna park,the rooms and the food are amazing. Staff is also very friendly
