Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas

Rather quiet, very clean, good location, new, stunning hotel, exceptional service. Love the variety and quality of the food. A la carte restaurants are very strong point of this hotel, I recommend teppanayaki live show - all restaurant just for you. Rooms are nice and comfy - nothing to add. Price to value ratio is great. The atmosphere is nice and friendly I can strongly recommend this place, in my opinion best place in Hurghada.

Let me start by giving 5* to Sona the customer relations, she was brilliant from start to finish and Michael at the people restaurant and the staff all fantastic. But I gave the resort 4* as there were issues and things that needed a big improvement, you couldn't get a table in the main restaurant as it was always over crowded and not enough tables unless you went mega early, in the end we eat breakfast every day in the people's restaurant, but what really disappointed me was if you wanted to go snorkeling as me and the kids loved it, you had to pay 500dollers to snorkel for 4hrs at the white island by the resort dive shop called Pirates as there was no pier to dive from like all the other hotels we have been at, there not called Pirates for nothing🤣🤣, and they took advantage of this with the customers, in the end we booked we booked our snorkeling trip with TUI £47 each for 7hrs with lunch and drinks, we also tried to have a few days on the beach but, the Pirates just constantly bombarded you asking you to book trips. The restaurants were all brilliant and the drinks, but we wouldn't go back as it was crazy expensive and not worth the money, it's a shame as the hotel was very nice and the staff all fantastic, but if you love the snorkeling then Sharm El Sheikh is the place to go, plus it's free to snorkel, we did try off the beach but it was rubbish and nothing really to see. Once again athank you to Sona for all the help, note there is no TUI rep visits which was also disappointing as we would of booked more trips.

Rooms are very spacious and new (we stayed in BayView side). Easily fit a family of 4. Very friendly and helpful staff. 10 min away from the airport. The rooms are modern and we had the chance to have ours with direct access to the pool. I highly recommend it for a family destination. Suits all ages. Many activities to do and every night there is a new show and a new party

Currently staying in room 1011, a few days remaining of the stay but enough time spent here to give my honest reviews. Location, cleanliness, rooms are all what you expect from a 5* Rixos hotel. However what lets this hotel down is the lack of service & promptness of getting things done. Issues i found were mainly to do with staff. 1) No help provided at main buffet restaurant at getting a table, always busy & waiting times not up to scratch for a 5* resort. 2) No staff members actively asking guests for drinks, once you do find & order drinks they arrive once you have finished eating. 3) Ala carte restaurants again staff are really slow & not accommodating. No customer service given at all. 4) At check in no information was provided, literally just given a key & room number & sent on our way. 5) Requests made by ringing 777 regarding towel changes, room cleaning, issues in the room etc are not done at first time of asking. Multiple calls have to be made. Again not the service you pay for. Overall this hotel needs a major change in providing staff with the correct training on customer service & improving it asap. Everything in this hotel is done in super slow motion.

Honestly I expected much more from a hotel of this level but in fact the head tjust tries to maintain this high standards of service unsuccessfully We came to celebrate a birthday and had arranged birthday decorations, a decorated table and a cake in advance. In the end, NOTHING was prepared. No decorations, no decorated table, no cake The whole point was to have everything ready for the birthday, and instead the evening was simply ruined. What made it even more frustrating was how the situation was handled afterwards. We complained and the only solution offered was to provide the cake later. But what are we supposed to do with a birthday cake after the birthday celebration is already over? There was no real attempt to understand the situation or actually make it right The service is also extremely disappointing but that’s not a problem of waiters or other staff members. They do their best , in the same time, they are polite and friendly . There are simply too many guests for the hotel to handle . You wait forever for food and drinks, for tables to be cleared, at the beach and even for room service. Everything feels overcrowded and disorganized. The food in the main restaurant is honestly not what you expect from Rixos. The quality is disappointing, the selection is repetitive, food is often not replenished properly and the queues are ridiculous. Sometimes there are huge lines just to get something as basic as shrimp. And then there is the security issue. Our ball disappeared from the beach. The question is not as much about the ball as about security . Yes, it is “just a ball”, but that is NOT the point. If guests cannot leave their belongings on the hotel beach without them disappearing, this is a security issue. Today it is a ball, tomorrow it could be something much more valuable for instance phone or other personal belongings We have been to various hotels of Rixos chain in UAE, Turkey , Egypt for many times, and even to this one in 2022 and we have never faced to as much troubles as there . I think this did NOT feel like the Rixos experience we expected. Too many guests, poor organization, slow service, disappointing food and, most importantly, a complete failure to properly handle a special occasion that was arranged in advance. I really hope MANAGEMENT actually reads this and takes it seriously instead of sending a generic “we are sorry” response Thanks a lot for “perfect” vocation.
