Serry Beach Resort

Unfortunately, my experience at Serry Beach Resort was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived. The problem started immediately at reception. The attitude and level of customer service were so poor that within the first few minutes I was already asking the receptionist Cathrine about cancelling my reservation. Instead of trying to make us feel welcome, the interaction made the situation worse. Later I had a chance to spead directly with the hotel manager, expecting that management would handle the situation professionally. Unfortunately, his attitude was also rude and dismissive. What shocked me most was the explanation I was given regarding the staff's behaviour: I was told that the weather was extremely hot, there was no air-conditioning in all areas, and therefore the staff were hot, uncomfortable and upset. For me, this is simply not an acceptable explanation from a hotel of this category. Guests should not have to suffer rude or unfriendly treatment because employees are uncomfortable with their working conditions. If the heat and lack of air-conditioning are affecting employees to the point that it affects how guests are treated, that is a management problem—not something paying guests should be expected to accept. The conversation with the manager became so disappointing that we actually told him there was little point continuing to explain my concerns. I had already seen enough from both reception, waiters and management to understand what kind of experience we were going to have. What made the situation especially frustrating was that this was not simply one unpleasant interaction with one employee. From my experience, the poor attitude appeared to reflect a broader problem with the level of hospitality and customer care. I booked this hotel expecting the service and professionalism associated with a highly rated luxury resort. Instead, the experience was so unpleasant that I decided to cancel the remainder of my stay and move to another hotel rather than spend the rest of my holiday there. Leaving a hotel early, relocating and disrupting a holiday is not something anyone does lightly. I preferred to go through that inconvenience rather than continue staying somewhere where I did not feel welcomed or properly treated. The property may look beautiful in photographs, but a luxury hotel is not defined only by its buildings, design or facilities. It is defined by how guests are treated—especially when they raise a concern. In my experience, Serry Beach Resort failed badly in that respect. I would not return, and based on the experience I personally had with reception and management, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are many excellent resorts in Hurghada where guests can expect professional hospitality and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, this was not one of them for us.

Amazing resort, the best customer service with special thanks to Akram for ensuring we were never without a drink whilst at the pool. The food could not be faulted and the various restaurants provided great variety. The number of activities available for all age ranges kept us all entertained we will return

Our stay at Serry Beach was absolutely amazing! We were beyond satisfied with everything from start to finish. the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive, and the service was truly outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Every detail was taken care of, and we genuinely felt welcomed and valued throughout our stay. I will say briefly, but to the point. Serry beach resort is one of the best hotels we have ever been to. The room is white, modern and most importantly clean! The cleaning staff comes every day. Delicious food. We were very captivated by the ecology of this hotel (paper straws, fruit cut in front of our eyes and only as much as we wanted that the excess would not be wasted). Hotel service at the highest level. Special thanks to the pool waiters and Rushdy Talaat, they made our holiday full of laughter and fun. Great hotel and great people. We'll definitely come back Kinga
