Serry Beach Resort

The hotel itself and its staff would easily deserve a 5/5, but the condition of the main swimming pool is rather disappointing, especially for a luxury hotel of this standard. The good news is that it's apparently going to be renovated! That being said, we had a wonderful 11-night stay at this beautiful hotel! Almost everything was absolutely amazing: the hotel itself is stunning (a few room renovations would be welcome, but nothing too serious), the food is super tasty, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are tons of activities for those who want to participate, but you never feel pressured to join in, which is highly appreciated! The beach is lovely, with very comfortable sun loungers (although beware that if you arrive too late, you might struggle to find an available one). Despite being located just 5 minutes from the airport by car, there's virtually no aircraft noise, which is another big plus. One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is definitely its staff. From housekeeping to guest relations (a special thank you to Hanan!) and the restaurant waiters, everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and always happy to help! Another fantastic feature is the Naz Cabaret "speakeasy". Hidden beneath the reception area, this cabaret offers an amazing show featuring belly dancers, singers, a live band and more. Entrance is free for hotel guests, although food and drinks are charged separately. Definitely worth a visit, you'll have a wonderful time there! We highly recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to return! One last important note: Be careful when entering the sea. We spotted what appeared to be small stonefish/scorpionfish in the shallow water, so we'd strongly recommend wearing proper protective water shoes to avoid a potentially nasty sting.

Amazing hotel, wonderfully designed, friendly and helpful staff who make you feel very comfortable. Able to find a sunbed by the pool at all times, although the pool surface needs repairing with paint peeling and cracking in most of the areas. Food is nice and fresh, with quality favoured over quantity of options. Would happily stay here again. Family of 4 including 2 young kids - all enjoyed very much.

Amazing hotel- stayed at Serry for a week. Eat in the Main food hall restaurant everyday. Amazing food and good friendly staff. Particularly Mamdouh Abd Elaieim always making sure we were looked after the minute we came in even when restaurant was busy. Also Osama from the pool area keeping us stocked on drinks. Always friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Serry Beach - it lives up to the photos + looks like what you’re expecting but I don’t think it lives up to the hype on tiktok. I need to stop going to hotels that are all over tiktok this is my 2nd one this year + didn’t live up to the hype!!! Hotel set in lovely grounds, Main pool not so nice it looks grim the pool liner looks like it’s covered in algae + needs a good scrub looks so old + dirty. I didn’t venture in once as it was grim. Hard to get a bed at the front row in the sun (think I led there once for 1 hour in my whole 10 day stay) the staff around the pool I also found miserable + abrupt I spent most of my time around the baby pool so many beds there to chose from not that many kids there although hard to get a drink bought to you. Staff don’t wander up that way much Beach is nice only 1 day didn’t manage to get a bed, staff here are the best so friendly always walking around. Restaurants Savour - where you go for breakfast, lunch + dinner, il be honest I didn’t think it was good at all. Very samey, not much taste + I’m a fussy eater alot of the meat was fatty, there is a lot of choice but it’s just repeative + I got bored. Not once was chips on offer just the same fried potatoes like wedges with a hint or spice (paprika maybe) they were either not cooked, over cooked or just right but 10 days of them being on offer lunch + dinner is to much. The staff got your drinks wrong all the time bringing out double of drinks we didn’t ask for, the little touches like a spoon for your tea, diet sugar on offer didn’t come had to ask every day. Again staff in here not that great + the staff behind the serving counters a lot seem to have a chip on there shoulder coming across as rude + arrogant. Also annoying kids running around L? Crying, screaming with your trying to eat at 8pm or climbing over the back of your booth. They do have adult only eating times but it’s to early Keif - Asian - a load of rubbish, 30 mins to get a drink from being sat down the red curry came out not red + tasteless, lots of people leaving there desserts. Staff in there rude + arrogant or our server was. Was looking forward to going in here was so disappointing Rooftop terrace didn’t eat here as didn’t like the menu the evening entertainment was here but after a few nights boring, belly dancers once you have seen them it’s very samey just different outfits. Even a 5 star hotel can’t get the entertainment right. Why do all hotels struggle when it comes to entertainment it’s either super tacky + animated or just on repeats every night + becomes boring Nur - beach club. You can get chips here 😂 baffles me why there not served at any point in the main resturant. Meant to be adults only but kids are in there. Rooms - there nice, again not wow or luxury beds are hard. Our ceiling fan on arrival was almost out the ceiling had to get them To come sort but by day 5 it was hanging again. The bathroom in the shower things were hanging + not tight. The lights on balcony hanging the room looked tired. The view awful a garden view overlooking accomodation roofs with fans that just made a low droning noise the whole time. The cleaner not the best, had to ask for loo roll even though he had cleaned refill the shower wash, fill the breakfast tea, mini bar refilled 2 x in our whole stay. I got the Egyptian belly 5 days into my stay, been to Egypt 6 x + never had it had to spend the day:night in the room. Would I come back to Serry No, I never go back to the same hotel, it looks nice but isn’t wow nor the 5 star it says it is more a 4. Didn’t live up to the hype as I say. I travel a lot around 4-5 holidays a year + nice hotels. I don’t know if I would recommend it, lots of little things + personal touches like a spoon with your tea to bring it up to 5 star,
