Sindbad Club

Just spent a week here, first time in Egypt. Hotel is 10 minutes from airport. Hotel is spotless and so are the rooms, great housekeeping staff. Great atmosphere through the hotel. I would say can’t be a picky eater and willing to try new things. Bar staff are fab!! Have been looked after so well by Abram Serry ,excellent customer care and service by him all week and such a nice guy.

Waleed in housekeeping was amazing he made animals out of the towels every day Ramon the bar staff around the pool was very helpful nothing was too much All of the staff really look after you and the hotel is amazing

We’ve just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Sindbad Club in Hurghada and genuinely couldn’t speak highly enough of our stay. The hotel and facilities were excellent, with plenty to keep the whole family entertained, but what really stood out was the quality of the food and, above all, the staff. The choice and standard of food throughout our stay was exceptional – fresh, varied and consistently excellent. The biggest credit, however, has to go to the people. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and incredibly hardworking. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and there is a genuine warmth and kindness amongst the team that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They really do make Sindbad a special place. We would especially like to praise our “brother”, Abdul Rahman Sayed. His incredible hard work, dedication and commitment to helping guests made a lasting impression on us. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, and we now consider him a friend for life. Ramy in the ZaZa Bar is another truly kind and dedicated member of the team. We developed a genuine affection for him and greatly appreciated his warmth, friendliness and consistently helpful nature. We also have to mention Mohamed, the entertainment lead, who is undoubtedly one of the stars of the hotel. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he gives his all to make sure every guest feels good, gets involved and has fun. His energy and commitment helped make our holiday even more memorable. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, excellent pools and facilities, great entertainment and everything you could want from a family holiday. Our children absolutely loved it, as did we. We arrived expecting a good holiday and left with some genuinely special memories and a real affection for Hurghada and the people we met there. A huge thank you to everyone at Sindbad Club, especially Abdul Rahman Sayed, Ramy and Mohamed. We will absolutely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arrived on a late Sunday evening after a short transfer from the airport. Relatively quick check in at the reception desk, bell boy ready in all respects to deliver luggage up to room. Deluxe double room on the 5th floor at the end of what seems a very long corridor, where the outside balcony overlooks the main pool and the street. Room is a tad tired in it's decor / appearance, but plenty big enough for 2 people for a 2 week stay. Could do with a unit that houses drawers, especially if you want to keep your clothes in, i.e. swimwear, underwear, etc.. hanging space is plenty, but lacking a few more hangers - easy fix Sindbad 😉 Air-con works, but by God, it's a little bit noisy - low setting is ample; infact, all 3 settings are the same. Room also a safe, which is good. The original fridge in the room had a dogy top hinge, which meant it wasn't retaining the cold, or shutting correctly, but managed to grab Amin, housekeeping staff who quickly dealt with the problem and replaced the whole fridge...he'll be getting a tip for his quick thinking, nothing worse than a warm beer. 1st day round the pool of a 2 week stay was ok, until ALL residents were evacuated out of the pool due to someone having an accident in there, subsequently from 1515hrs the pool had to be closed. There should be no need for the mad dash to grab a sunbed, as plenty available, however at approximately 0730 this morning, some sunbeds were already spoken for...there are plenty around the other side of the complex after I did an initial recce of the grounds; so there is no real need to grab a bed early, but did notice the ones under the fixed parasols get snapped up - set your alarm early for these. Ok, 4th day in, and an evening meal - seafood. I understand that there is a need to get residents through for the sitting, but a line has to be drawn when my wife had not finished her meal, and a member of the resturant staff tried to remove her plate in front of her...now, you don't do that, and as it's normal protocol to wait until BOTH diners have finished their meal, you wait, or come back later; what made it worse is that the staff member mimicked a baby crying as if my wife was throwing a tantrum...sorry Sindbad, but you have just made what was a memorable experience, into one that I will not forget in a negative way. My wife works within the hospitality trade, more so, a top French Restaurant where we live - this attitude from a member of staff to a paying customer would have got them fired - buck your ideas up and teach your staff a few basic rules in etiquette. Quite pool, large and peppered with sun beds and bali beds, and not hassled by Operations staff wanting to know if I want a spa or a massage... wave pool, peppered with sunbeds and quaint palm tree shaded spots...cannot count how many times I've been asked if I want a spa or pedicure, or massage - simple answer; If I want any of the above, I'll personally go and ask. Pool cleaning? It's understandable that this has to be carried out, but not during the day when patrons are trying to enjoy themselves in the pool, plus, what dirt and grime is being overturned in the process? If you go out the back of the hotel, and see the Serry hotel infront of you, this is your gateway to Sindbad's beach retreat. The Serry is owned by The Sindbad Club, and is partially open to patrons as work commences on additional buildings - give this a year and it will be a lovely place to stay, in 5 Star luxury. If you are unfortunate to have a late night return flight, you'll have to pay for the privilege of holding onto your room. Now whether you do your homework with current exchange rates, i.e. US dollar to the pound, Euro to the pound, or straight up Sterling, you'll have to pay an additional fee of 25 £, €, or $ - the cut off is 1700hrs as to when you have to vacate and lose your WiFi connection (quick to terminate this once you've checked out) All in all, a relaxing 2 week stay in an up and coming resort of Hurgada; pack plenty of suncream! And a final note, which is probably the key to holiday makers returning to The Sindbad Club resort... The staff at the Sindbad, and that also goes for those who work over at the beach, work tirelessly to provide you, the holiday maker, a pleasurable experience - they are polite, witty and very engaging and cannot do enough for you, to the point where they literally will go out of their way to help you; you would be surprised just how much a token of appreciation goes if a gesture is passed on..💵. You have one member of your bar staff who has made our stay both welcoming and humbling in the same breath, Abram Serry - you are a credit to the hotel and what it stands for.

Hotel is beautiful and has lots to offer, plenty of places to eat and drink. We favoured Botanica over the main buffet restaurant as it was more relaxed and the staff were so friendly and attentive; especially Mustafa. All staff could not do enough for us (me + my 2 teenage daughters). Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard, bottled water and fresh towels. The beach is only a short walk away, again the staff were amazing and the section is private for Sinbad club with a restaurant and 2 bars. We would definitely return.
