Steigenberger Ras Soma

Very good cleaning service and the service of Islam. We‘re from room 2247.

In August, we stayed at Ras Soma in Hurghada for the third time, and once again we were absolutely delighted! We especially loved the beautiful beach and easy access to the sea, as well as the impeccable cleanliness throughout the resort and in our room. The evening beach parties are wonderful. We especially enjoyed the Chicago dance group — their performances were energetic, entertaining, and truly memorable. The food was excellent — everything we tried in all the restaurants was delicious. A special thank you to our room attendant, Mohamed (Room 2147). He not only kept our room perfectly clean, but also showed a wonderful creative touch by making beautiful towel arrangements that always brought a smile to our faces. Ras Soma has once again given us wonderful memories. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Visited the hotel in October 2025 , first impression was okay ,we got welcome lemonade with ment from a beautiful polite young lady . Then came room assignment, we were escorted to room that far away from what we booked . Room looking on empty, old building that was never completed and left to deterioration, we can see a very thin blue line few miles away that I was told it is red Sea? I flipped it didn't come from NY to look at burned sand miles long . Our polite host called front desk after she show us a second room ! I was told to pay 200 dollars more to upgrade the room I reserved originally...really . I calmly ask the host to take me back to my laguges, I was really to leave the hotel as I felt disgusting . At front desk a manger showed up and I told him ,I am not bluffing I am leaving now call a taxi 4 me because this hotel has nothing around but desert. He attempted to clam me down and really try very hard to arrange another room after few hours of drama . I showed him the room I booked and he took me to it straight. Why all these our of drama if you cowards playing games ,we are not Americans suckers. My mode was ruined and I really didn't feel to stay any longer and my wife was very emotional . Moving forward was no flights to fly back to cairo as it was 5 pm already and we arrived at 12 pm for 7 nights vacation. Next day the manger came back and all apologetic.. My wife said let's stay and enjoy the 6 nights left ,we did . Beach. No sand but small rocks and it is far distance from the umbrella. Buffet, it is not luxurious but average Cleanliness, was okay with all over Service is ok Indeed will never go back

We stayed at the steigenberger ras soma from 12th to the 26th of August. The hotel is amazing so beautiful to look at and be inside. The architecture is amazing very Arabian. The staff in all areas are amazing. It's true! They can never do enough for you. I will do a separate review naming all the staff as there are too many to name on here. We were remembered by quite a few which was nice. We would love to stay longer if we could. Seriously amazing, excellent superb choose your adjective and go from there. Ian D
