Good place for vacation with a kids we really enjoyed it we will come back for sure and thanks to animation team they make our holiday special

Totally honest review..... Rooms - our room was absolutely stunning. The view over the slides and pools. Massive with everything you need. Even weighing scales to see the all inclusive working 🤣 Plenty of storage. They put irons and ironing boards on each landing so you don't have to go to reception. Ahmed was our cleaner on the 4th floor. He was very thorough and made some lovely towel art. He made a special effort on my sons birthday. Also, we dropped £20 in the bathroom and he was very honest and popped it on the side and told us he'd found it. Food - The Solara restaurant for breakfast and lunch is absolutely fantastic. So laid back and attentive. The waiters come over straightaway with your drinks as they remember you. The food is hot and of good quality. The chef that makes the omelettes in the morning and pasta at lunch is a lovely polite guy that always has time to say hello and ask you about your day. We went into the Alora restaurant once for breakfast and once for lunch and it was too busy, you were fighting for a table and the waiters took ages if they got to you at all. Not a reflection on them they work very hard it's just too busy to keep on top of. So we always ate in the Solara. Ala Cartes By far the best two are Italian and Mexican. The food and staff are 5 star. Just felt like being a really good restaurant. The Indian we found hit and miss. We had a really fab meal one night and then the second time was quite poor just because all the meats in the dishes were grisly. The staff and service were still great but it really put us off returning. The Asian is nice. Not blow you away but it was still a great meal. The Egyptian for us was the worst and I hate to say that because the service was the best. They try so hard to please it's a little overwhelming. We had a lot of extra food bought over which the intention of giving us extra was a good one, it did make us feel awkward when we left most of it. Pools The pools were great. The swim up pool bar is lovely, special mention to Abd Allah he's so friendly and hardworking. He really is an asset. The lifeguards have it just right with the rules. Letting the kids jump in safely but still always looked vigilant. Slides Loved the slides. And the main reason is the mats. I always go on the slides with my lad and then swerve them cos they hurt my back. But this time I went on them no problem as the mats made it enjoyable. As there's so many there's no queues and its good that they stagger the opening and closing of them so there's always so slides to go on. Entertainment The Jungle Party was fantastic along with the pool party. We tended to eat late and there was 16 of us so we did make our own entertainment mistake of the time. Ezther is so lovely, always made time for all the family and she was genuinely interested in our conversations. Beach Not the greatest but there's not much the hotel can do to improve it. They do the best with what they have. Spa We had 2 hammans with the glove but you have to ask for the glove, otherwise it's just a scrub and nowhere near as good. Then 3 massages each (me and my husband). I had 3 different ladies and couldn't fault them. Would we return?....we wish was still there lol After several holidays in Hurghada this has been our favourite. We have been to the Sunrise Royal Makadi which is exceptional but the slides are now too small there for our teens and we have been to the Aquajoy which again is a great hotel but Sunrise Solara smashes it out of the park! 5 stars guys 5 stars
