TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens

We stayed again this Hotel in August and had another wonderful time. The place is so relaxing and the staff are second to non, making you feel so welcome and going above and beyond in their service. The food is very good with plenty of choice, the lido pool bar serves exceptional food. The service around the pool is also exceptional, where the waiters ensure that you're never without a drink. The pool attendants ensure the area is kept clean and a special thanks to the gentleman who also cleans your sunglasses, top man. You really can't go wrong staying at this hotel, it's brilliant. We will be staying again to make even more memories. A big thanks to all the staff, no matter what job they do, they all deserve a mention and praise.

The staff at Makadi Gardens, where tremendous, myself and wife, arrived in our room to a beautiful honeymoon spread, champagne and cake. The staff were amazing and helpful at every querie. Thank you again.

Just back from a fabulous 2 week holiday . First time with TUI blue hotels and myself and my husband were not disappointed. Makadi Gardens is beautifully kept ans staff are a credit to the hotel. Food excellent. Will definitely return.

My impression of the hotel is that all the staff could not be more helpful and friendly, i couldn't have picked a better hotel to spend a fortnight.

We spent 10 days here and loved it! A few minutes of easy walk to the beach and adults only, this hotel is chilled and easy going based on the fact that it's smaller than some of the huge, several hundred bed resorts. It feels much more intimate and friendly. Upon arrival our room was decorated as a nod to it being our honeymoon, cake and fizz provided. All very lovely and thoughtful. The rooms are absolutely pristine. Huge shout-out to the lovely guy who cleaned our room (216) as it was utterly perfect every day and always had a smile on his face! The pools are great, no ridiculous sunbed fights as there was always plenty left - but to be fair we spent a lot of time at the beach over the pool. Tip - if you're a sun worshipper then the pool is awesome and if you struggle with the sun then the beach is for you. There is so much shade and breeze making the heat much more tolerable. Both have drinks delivered to the sun lounger too and the beach toilets are immaculately clean. Food is always a sticking point for my husband as he is a chef with high expectations. He loved the main restaurant and preferred it over the al a carte options (which we visited) due to the variety on offer. Here you will meet Ibrahim and Abdo who are simply lovely and always on hand to look after you. In honesty, every single member of the staff was amazing but I met Ibrahim on our first morning and he looked after us ever since. Legend. There is a shop on site (downstairs to the right of reception) and it's cheaper than the shops opposite and less pushy! The bigger convenience shop opposite is pretty good but buy local brands rather than well known imported products and you will notice the difference in your pocket! The guys at the bar were great and efficient, a wide range of drinks were available and there were always on hand with a smile and a chat and we had great service from Ahmed, as well as others. Just a note - tips are not expected but greatly appreciated. Everyone remembers to tip waiters and bartenders but often forget the general gardeners, reception staff and other less visible employees. There are boxes in reception where you can pay to a particular department and it all gets split between them monthly. It's only a few quid from us and makes a huge amount of difference to them. For those who like to snorkel or dive, you won't be disappointed. Just out from our beach we saw moray eels, string rays, puffer fish, lion fish etc. we even found Nemo and Dori! We can't wait to return!!
