Makadi gardens, Egypt. If you want exceptional service, home from home feeling. It’s the place to go. 3rd time for me and booking again for next year. Can’t recommend enough. A real home from home.

We had a fabulous weeks at Makadi Gardens, the standout for this hotel are the staff. The pool guys and bar/restaurant staff are exceptional and a credit to the hotel, they all go above and beyond and are always in good spirits. A shoutout is also deserved for the staff we don't see - chefs, ground keepers, cleaning team who all add to the immaculate standard of the hotel and grounds. We will definitely be back next year.

This is the 2nd time of staying here, all the staff are amazing can not do enough for you. The whole place is spotless. You will always find something to eat in the hotel restaurant and you can book to eat once a week at any of the restaurants. It’s not a big lively hotel where there is constant noise or activities, it does have a private beach with snack bar.

Amazing two weeks here in this hotel in Egypt. Once you get over the fact that all the staff are male, the service you will receive will be the best you have ever experienced. All drinks are provided to you at your sunbed. The staff providing the drinks during the day and evening at the pool bar were 5 star. Special shout out to Islam and his pal who kept us entertained and laughing every day. The housekeeping was also excellent and very attentive. They bring you a change of pool towels every evening to your room. The food was excellent however unfortunately I came down with a tummy bug mid stay and I was not alone. According to google research 25% of visitors will experience something like this. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and has spectacular coral reefs where you can view tropical fish. The aquafit classes are great fun especially experiencing a class by the one and only Mando! If you are coming here for the first time it is important to bring money for tips. Tips make up a workers main income - not their wage. Yes, bring euros and Imodium and you’ll have the best time!
