We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were helpful Everything was well organised, and the service was excellent. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We will definitely return! Special thanks to Manager Ahmed were above and beyond to make our stay special.

We rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Charmillion Gardens was so disappointing that I feel other families need to know what happened. This review relates specifically to our experience with the football pitch, which is operated and used by the hotel staff. The treatment of paying guests, particularly children, was completely unacceptable. The hotel staff take priority over guests when it comes to using the football pitch. Staff regularly play their own matches wearing football boots and shin pads and behaving as though they are playing in a Champions League final, whilst paying guests — including children — are told they are not allowed to use the pitch and are expected to stand on the side and watch. This is a family resort. The facilities should be available for the paying guests who have actually paid to stay at the hotel, rather than effectively being treated as a private football pitch for staff. After repeatedly challenging this, I eventually insisted that my 12-year-old son should be allowed to play. Unfortunately, the behaviour of some of the staff during the game was extremely concerning. Whilst another young guest was playing in goal, one of the members of staff kicked the football at full force directly towards his face. This was not simply a normal football incident — the ball was struck extremely hard at a small 12-year-old child. What made the situation even worse was that the staff member and others laughed about it rather than showing any concern for a child who had just been hit in the face by a ball. On another occasion, a member of staff physically pushed my son off the ball in order to take it from him, despite the fact that they were supposedly playing on the same team. When questioned about his behaviour, the response was essentially that my son was a child. This behaviour is completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the response from management. I raised the matter with the hotel manager, expecting at the very least for the situation to be taken seriously and for the safety and treatment of children to be acknowledged. Instead, the manager laughed at the situation and dismissed my concerns. There should be clear rules at this resort: paying guests should come first. Staff should not be able to exclude guests from facilities so that they can use them themselves, and children should certainly not be made to feel unwelcome or unsafe. If the hotel wants staff to have their own football matches, then arrange dedicated staff-only sessions at appropriate times. Do not take over a guest facility and then tell paying guests and their children to stand on the sidelines. This experience left us extremely disappointed. It was not simply about football — it was about the attitude of the staff, the treatment of children and, most importantly, the complete lack of concern shown by management when a genuine complaint was raised. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue we encountered during our stay. The hotel has several other significant shortcomings, which I will address separately in another TripAdvisor review. I want this review to remain specifically focused on the football pitch and the behaviour of the staff and management. Paying guests should be the priority at a family resort — not the staff. In our experience, that was certainly not the case here. For that reason, based on this experience alone, I would strongly advise families to think twice before booking this hotel.

This visit was my first to sharm, the resort was very nice with lots of facilities, the staff were more than help-full, the golf car reservation to get to the beach was a bit hard to catch so we went by foot every time, were we needed to cross to pass through either charmillion sealife or charmillion club resort. But it was better through charmillion club resort because the beach is more nice and we get to snorkel from the geti. In general the hotel cleanness was moderate specially our room bathroom, there were no floor towel do it was messy all the time plus the smell and the mold on the shower walls. I think this thing can be easily fixed with continuous maintenance . In general i recommend this hotel for family trips and it could be more than 5 days

How do I start? We travelled to Egypt for the 1st time. We were a party of 9 (adults and children) After reading some of the reviews leading up to departure I was a little wary but I’m so pleased I didn’t listen to them! On arrival to the hotel at approximately 23.30 after 10 minute transfer time! We were greeted by welcoming Reception staff who upgraded us to family suites. A lovely surprise. Thank you! The restaurant was available for snacks and the bar was open. The porters lead us to our rooms where we were had bottles of water in our fridge and a plate of fruit. Family Suite (held 4 people) but was massive could have easily accommodated a family of 5. 2 bedrooms - 1 room with 2 single beds and the other room with a king Lovely big balcony overlooking the volleyball pitch. Pool Area. - very nice - sunbeds comfortable and a real positive was there was plenty of sunbeds. People didn’t start reserving beds until 8am around the main pool. Plenty of lifeguards around the pool - working very long hours. Very pleasant. An amazing job Thank you! Slides - we all loved them. There was a slide for everybody to enjoy. A highlight to the holiday., Once agin the lifeguards on the sides were very pleasant especially Abdul on the ‘bowl slide’ Plenty of pools for all ages. Beach Is located at the Sealife Hotel. Not too long of a stroll. Well worth a visit with a snorkel mask. The sea is so clear and you can see lots of fish. There are 3 hotels all in one and you can use the facilities, restaurants, bars and entertainment in every hotel a real positive. Grounds were lovely well maintained and clean. Food - always food for us all to eat even the children. Freshly made omelettes and eggs on a morning. Freshly made pasta on a lunch time and night. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Pizza, and themed nights. Snack Bar Chips. Burgers. Chicken nuggets. Hotdogs, pizzas, chicken Swarma. Entertainment Staff They were very welcoming and made our holiday enjoyable. Activities included were volley ball: aqua gym, darts etc Grand, ‘Seven and couple others were absolutely fantastic making it a holiday we will never forget! THANK YOU! We will recommend this hotel. Night time entertainment could have been a little bit better. There were 2 amphitheaters based in the Sealife and Club hotel while the Gardens hotel diner have one. The entertainment was in the main bar area. The hotel host a Beach Party Wolvis which is an additional charge of $6 per adult and child over 14 years. It is a show of fire, dancers, belly dancer and the Entertainment Team do their dancers before releasing the foam! Excursion. Spa staff always walking around the pool encouraging you to book massages, trips with them. We booked the Dune Buggy Trip and a Camel ride. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend. Great holiday for all. Amazing service and facilities, friendly staff, clean environment. Osama at reception was fab. Everything you need in a family holiday, from fun by the pool to evening entertainment. Baseem from house keeping was outstanding. Grande and Nora from animation work really hard with the kids around the pool. Great time was had! Nicole and Lucy.
