Meraki Sharm El Sheikh

Negatives: Pressured into leaving a review – While relaxing in a secluded area of the beach, we were approached by a member of the entertainment team who essentialy left a review on our phones herself and then mentioned how good the entertainment team was. She took both my phone and my fiance's phone, wrote the review on our behalf, and then took a photo of the completed 5-star review as proof. Experiences like this make me question how the hotel has achieved such high ratings. In my opinion, it does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel by European expectations. Poor communication before arrival – It was impossible to get confirmation of our reservation despite multiple phone calls and emails. After booking, we received no further communication from the hotel confirming our stay. Having read reviews from guests who had arrived to find no record of their booking, we wanted reassurance that our reservation was secure. Unfortunately, nobody ever answered the phone, even when family members in Egypt called on our behalf, and all of our emails went unanswered. Very noisy location – The hotel is situated in the heart of the party district, with loud music often continuing late into the evening. Disappointing food – The food offerings were largely the same across most restaurants and generally lacked flavour. Some of the grilled dishes at dinner were enjoyable, but breakfast was particularly underwhelming. Room cleanliness and comfort – Our room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There was brown residue on the clothes hangers, the room felt quite clinical and uninspiring, and the bed sheets were rough and uncomfortable. The photos online look much better than the room really is. Poor quality drinks on the beach – The beach bar drinks were disappointing and below the standard we expected. Unimpressive reception area – The reception and lobby area lacked the welcoming atmosphere and appearance you would expect from a hotel of this rating. Positives: Hard-working entertainment team – Although organised entertainment is not something I personally look for in a holiday, the entertainment team was very active and clearly worked hard throughout our stay. Excellent shower – The shower was spacious and had consistently strong water pressure. Some good service – Service could be inconsistent, but Ahmed at the front desk was particularly helpful and deserves recognition.

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation here in Meraki. The atmosphere was always amazing because of really energetic animation team. I was doing aquagym and enjoying all their parties, the staff were friendly and attentive everywhere. The hotel and our rooms was clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

It was a good hotel and the night life is amazing

I had a wonderful stay at this resort in Sharm El Sheikh. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. Lana was amazing and always helpful whenever we needed anything. Lana was especially welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Both of them provided excellent service with a genuine smile. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again.

The hotel’s location was perfect, situated right next to the sea with a vibrant beach that created a beautiful atmosphere. Everything felt fresh and welcoming, especially because the buildings were all white, which gave off a bright and positive energy that helped me wake up each day feeling happy and refreshed. The room was very relaxing and comfortable, featuring an all-white interior that matched the rest of the hotel and added to the peaceful atmosphere. I felt that I definitely got my money’s worth, as the hotel was all-inclusive with free food throughout my stay. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent, and I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the meals. The cleanliness of both the hotel and its restaurants was outstanding. At no point was I concerned about hygiene, which allowed me to enjoy my stay even more knowing that everything was well maintained. Waking up each morning was a pleasure, as the surroundings were peaceful and calm, followed by a pleasant flow of music throughout lunch and dinner. The atmosphere throughout the resort was fantastic. Everyone was well-behaved, and there was never any arguing or shouting. Guests were enjoying themselves, relaxing, and making new friends, which created a friendly and welcoming environment. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience that I would highly recommend.
