Atlantica Kalliston Resort & Spa

We stayed at Atlantica Kalliston on a bed and breakfast basis and had a really lovely stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole resort had a relaxed feel. We ate at the hotel’s Greek restaurant on our first night. Although the food was nice, we weren’t completely blown away and it was actually our most expensive dinner of the holiday, so for the rest of our stay we chose to eat either in Chania or at some of the lovely restaurants close to the hotel. I would highly recommend Roots, which is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel. It was absolutely delightful – a beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. I had the steak, which was one of the best meals of our holiday. We also had a fantastic meal at Orexi, another great local restaurant within walking distance. The food was delicious and the moussaka was stunning – definitely worth a visit. On our last day, we had a beautiful lunch by the swim-up bar at the hotel, which was the perfect way to finish our holiday. The food was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed sitting by the pool for one final relaxed lunch before leaving. The beach at the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water and really comfortable sunbeds. Despite the hotel being fully booked during our stay, it never felt overly busy or crowded, which was a huge plus. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. A beautiful hotel, gorgeous beach, lovely staff and some fantastic restaurants right on the doorstep. A perfect base for enjoying both a relaxing beach holiday and everything Chania has to offer.

Just got back from a fantastic long weekend (Friday to Monday) at the Atlantica Kalliston, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. Our room was spotless and felt super fresh. A really nice surprise was finding a plate of complimentary Cretan treats waiting for us, put together by the chef himself such a great personal touch! The hotel is right on the beach, and the water is absolutely crystal clear. We didn't end up ordering anything down at the beach itself, but it was gorgeous just hanging out there. The food, though... wow. From the breakfast buffet to the Greek restaurant, everything we ate was a 10/10. Huge shoutout to Chef Sfakianakis the guy has incredible taste, and you can tell he puts so much thought and detail into every single dish. The service was also great across the board, but I have to give a special mention to Penelope at the coffee station. She makes the absolute best coffee and really started our mornings off right! If you're looking for a relaxing beach trip with genuinely amazing food, you have to stay here.

A wonderful hotel that provided excellent service from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately there were issues with our booking which took a while to resolve, but the hotel ensured we were kept in the loop and then upgraded us to a swim up room. The staff are all so polite and provide a great service, in particular Salma and the lobby bar team and the spa. The food is high standard, we actually chose to eat at the buffet most evenings as the quality and range was so good! Location is perfect, right on a sandy beach but also a short bus ride to Chania from right outside the hotel.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff were so friendly and warm. Everyone went above and beyond to make conversation and assit in anyway they could. The location was perfect for us. About 20min bus ride from the centre but buses are cheap and run every 8 minutes from outside the hotel. Being slightly out of the centre meant that the beach was quieter and beautifully sandy rather than alot more central that were pebbly. The pools were gorgeous and so clean. All sunbeds are complementary and there was always spare ones. They are also comfy! There are lots of activities and entertainment that goes on throughout the day and into the evening. We didn't stay in the hotel for every meal but the ones we did were incredible. They have an Asian restaurant, a greek restaurant, an Italian restaurant and a buffet serving food until 10pm every day. The breakfast buffet selection was out of this world. I have only been back in the UK one day and I can't tell you how much I miss the breakfast already. The onsite spa was wonderful. My boyfriend and I had treatments and they were so relaxing. There is also an onsite gym and bars. Including a beach bar and swim up pool bar. Best hotel we have ever stayed in. Already recommended it to all my family and friends. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back. Thank you all so much.

We had an excellent stay at the resort. Everything was wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the Aegeo spa. A special thank-you to Irine for the amazing massage, we were extremely satisfied with her service. Highly recommended!
