Creta Maris Resort

Just come home from a two week stay in Creta Maris where we had a great family holiday. The hotel has 7 à la carte restaurants which we visited every one. Our favourite was the steak restaurant (Mademi) as the food was delicious and the location offered a stunning setting next to the sea. The Pithos restaurant was our least favourite as most of the dishes contained mushrooms which as a family we are not fond of. In general the food selection at all of the buffets was good. One thing we did notice that compared to other all inclusive restaurants we have been to the ‘hot’ food at the buffets were mainly cold which was a bit disappointing. Another improvement the hotel could make is the drinks selection. The local beer on tap wasn’t very nice especially served in the plastic beakers throughout the day around the pool and you had to pay extra for bottled beer. However in the à la carte restaurants the same bottled beer was available as part of the all inclusive. Likewise they served a cheap version of coke/ Fanta/ sprite but offered the branded version in the restaurants. Bit confusing why this is so. The room was large enough for us and the views on the balcony were superb. We did notice the smell of drains a number of times in our section of the hotel. The staff were very attentive especially the servers in the main bar in the evening. They offered service with a smile and were very friendly and welcoming. Particular thanks to Maria, Anna and Antonios who are good assets for the hotel. A real positive of this hotel compared to other all inclusive hotels is the fact that there were always sun loungers around the pool and on the beach available so no early morning scramble to claim one. Overall a really nice hotel and with some small improvements could excel further. We would go again.

We had such a wonderful experience with Stefan and Robert, the photographers at Creta Maris! They were incredibly kind, professional, and friendly, with a great sense of humor. What impressed us most was how they managed to get all of our kids smiling, laughing, and posing perfectly for the photos — no easy task! 😂 The photos turned out beautifully, and they made the whole experience fun and enjoyable for our family. Highly recommended! Thank you so much, Stefan and Robert, for capturing such great memories of our holiday!
