It is a fantastic hotel not far from Kardamaina welcoming staff friendly atmosphere rooms really spacious and clean food fantastic and just a wonderful hotel

Great experience once again , 5th time an gets better every year , food staff all amazing , angelo at the pool great guy , an Sam an Ken at the pool bar deserve a special mention , see u next year ☀️

Im currently at sovereign. Tomorrow is sadly my last day, but it has been a fantastic week. I wasn't sure I would get away as my father is in v bad health. I live with him and care for him, whilst working full time. I could not have asked for a more perfect week. I really feel like ive finally relaxed for a while. From the moment I arrived, the room was exactly as id booked, was lovely, and overlooking the pool and sea. Everything you could need. Easy to get a sunbed, private beach area. You could virtually eat and drink all day, there was always something available. Im just sad I couldnt partake in everything on offer...I'm petite, so my tummy gave up before I wanted it to 😁 The staff are all super friendly. I didn't chat much with them all...I think as Im on my own I'm a bit more shy. It is obviously more a 4* but what is on offer is still fabulous. I am struggling to understand the reviews saying they couldn't find anything to eat? 🤔 there was so much choice. I must admit, I would have liked to see some more greek specialities, stifado, saganaki, kleftiko etc...but wasn't a big deal, still lots of different dishes. The entertainment team work hard, and there is always something to take part in, if that is what you like. Kardemena is only a 20 minute walk, and I went most days to have a break from all the relaxation 😁 Im not sure if this will be my last holiday for quite some time, with dads health, but I know when I can get away again...I will come back here! Thank you everyone at sovereign. You don't know how much this holiday here has given my mind and body a much needed rest !!!

I definitely do not recommend it. We went to this hotel and it fell far below our expectations. We purchased a room with a private pool, but instead of a double bed, they pushed two single beds together and passed them off as a double; the beds constantly kept separating from each other and it was very poor in terms of comfort. Overall, we were not satisfied with the attitude of the staff; only housekeeping and room cleaning were genuinely very good and they are successful in this regard, but I cannot say the same for the bar staff, waiters, and bartenders. The bartenders stationed at the evening lobby bar and by the pool were definitely not friendly at all, and when we went to get drinks, they practically looked at us with hostility. The staff generally discriminate based on gender, act according to who the person is, and there are constantly sullen, unpleasant expressions all around, especially the older employee who never smiles. The team working in the restaurant was good, and the performance of the animation team was also definitely very successful. Aside from the cleanliness and the animation, I definitely do not recommend it; the bartenders behaved absolutely and without a doubt badly.

The holiday started with minor organizational confusion upon arrival, which was resolved by the airport staff. However, the hotel itself fell significantly short of expectations – the room was in poor condition with mold and beds that kept sliding apart, while the food and drinks were very subpar. The highlights of the trip were the great pool, the entertainment program, the clear sea, and the nearby town of Kardamena. For 21,000 CZK (~850 €), the quality does not match the price, and I would recommend choosing a different destination instead. After our delayed flight to the Greek island of Kos, transfer information was supposed to arrive via the mojeTUI app. However, no message arrived even after landing. Fortunately, TUI staff were waiting for us right at the airport welcome desk and provided all the transfer details. After paying the tourist tax at reception, the receptionist handed us our room key cards. When we walked inside, we were in shock: Room condition: The room was furnished with older, damaged furniture. Bathroom: There was black mold in the shower, the cabinet under the sink was damaged, and the bathroom faucet looked as if it had been corroded by acid. Beds: Instead of a standard double bed, we received two single beds on wheels pushed together. This was very uncomfortable – as soon as you laid in the middle, the beds separated and you fell through the gap. Dining at the hotel buffet restaurant offered a seemingly wide selection at first glance, but had several major flaws: Side dishes: The side options were mostly limited to French fries and occasionally rice. Food quality: Any fried or baked food was completely dried out, including the scrambled eggs. Pasta sauces were prepared right in front of us using store-bought pre-made products. Most dishes were also severely underseasoned. Bars and drinks: The alcoholic cocktails were undrinkable. If you ordered something like a Piňa Colada, you basically got white rum mixed with pineapple syrup. Beach bar snacks: Food at the second bar closer to the sea was equally underseasoned, the fries were dried out, and the gyros was inedible. Positive aspects of the stay: Pool and entertainment: The hotel's outdoor pool was great, the sun loungers were comfortable, and the entertainment program wasn't bad at all. Sea and surroundings: We knew in advance that the water entrance was slightly darker, which luckily didn't bother us. The sea itself was beautiful with an amazing view. Excursions: The only nearby village, Kardamena, is a pleasant small town where you can buy souvenirs away from the beach shops at reasonable prices. Final Verdict: Overall, I would say that for 21,000 CZK (~850 €), you are much better off booking a nice hotel in Turkey instead.
