An enjoyable stay over all, but so many better places to spend your hard earned cash imo. Pros Hotel and pools are generally clean and tidy Grounds are nice and pools are good Most of the staff are polite Ice cream stall great Cons Very poor drink quality - if you like quality drinks this isn't the place Poor food quality , buffet not great , Ala cartes ok, but not a fine dining experience. Cleaners sloppy and not thorough , dirty sheets put on bed Some rude staff Fight for sunbeds is real - seems like they over subscribed the hotel ?

Hmm... I am a bit torn about this hotel. It was supposed to be a 5 star resort. In many ways It was, but in other ways it definetly was not. The 5 star experience: -The buildings, gorgeus and spacious. - the rooms, big, good beds -the pool area; a pool for every purpose. Always a sunbed avaliable. Good place around the sunbeds as well. - the icecream-bar. A good selection of flavors and very friendly staff - the Asian restaurant. Insanely good food! Friendly staff. Very clean! - we were lucky and got free places at both the asian and the greek restaurant The not 5 star experience: - it doesnt feel like "5 stars" when you get your softdrinks and Water around the pool in papercups. -the main restaurant. Chaotic, noisy, crowded. Hard to have a conversation. Small tables, 30 cm away from the people sitting at the next table. - not the hotel's fault, but som people ate directly from the buffé with their hands - at one of the a la carte restaurants we were met by a waitress who said: Im a little sick today, hope that is okay. The collegues checked her forehead for fever a couple of times. And still she was the one who handled our drinks, cuttlery and served us some of the food. - at the main restaurant we ordered Pepsi max, and one of the glasses we were served contained someone elses fingerprints, mouthmarks and food-leftovers... when we complained to the waitress, she totally agreed and giggled. No excuse. Lost my apetite after that...

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, where we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place! ❤️ From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome. We were greeted with a lovely cocktail before being shown to our upgraded sea-view room. To our delight, there was a beautiful bottle of wine, chocolates, a plate of freshly cut fruit, sandwiches, and a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel special. Our room was lovely — spacious, comfortable, and with a beautiful sea view. The all-inclusive food was also excellent, with plenty of choice and lots of variety throughout our stay. There was always something delicious to enjoy. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, but we would especially like to give a huge shout-out to the bar staff at the lobby bar. Nikos, Christina and Maria looked after us so well and always made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warmth and friendliness really added to our stay. We’re sorry we missed Maria on our last night — we would have loved to say goodbye and thank her properly! We usually like to visit different places for our holidays, but this is definitely somewhere we will return to. We’ll just have to time it a little better around the school holidays next time! 😂 A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel for helping make our 10th wedding anniversary so special. Hoping for this to be a fair review and one I wish I had read before booking. We returned last week from 10 days at this hotel for our honeymoon. We booked as the reviews were overall glowing and there’s a very active Facebook group where people share their equally raving reviews. I’m not sure whether we were just unlucky or there or on a particular bad spell, but we can’t relate to these reviews at all. The positives: -The hotel is very clean, the majority of the staff are very hardworking, polite and can’t do enough for you. -We arrived at 11.30pm after a delayed flight and the hotel had left sandwiches in our room which was appreciated. We were also taken to our room via golf buggy with our cases which was a nice touch. -The food is generally fine. I’ve read reviews saying it’s awful but it’s an all-inclusive buffet; it serves its purpose. There’s lots of choice and the themed nights offered a really nice variety. -The rooms are a good size, cleaned daily with fresh bath towels. Mini bar is stocked intermittently. -It was very easy to get a sun bed most days. People did reserve them for long periods of time but it was generally pretty easy to find one, even later in the day. -I was really impressed that the hotel offered oat milk. I can’t drink cows milk and so being able to have my iced coffees made with oat milk was brilliant. -The bar staff work incredibly hard all day and are always really pleasant. I’ve read lots of reviews that say the drinks aren’t great but I’d have to disagree, the cocktail menu was by far the largest we’ve ever had in an all-inclusive and we found the drinks really good quality. The negatives: -Unfortunately, other guests. We are very laid-back, in our 20’s, yet were appalled by some of the behaviour we witnessed whilst there. So many drunk people being rowdy, vile language being shouted across the pool, vomiting from alcohol consumption, fighting. A complete lack of regard for others around them, particularly young children who could hear and see. Lifeguards tried their best to manage them but they showed a total disregard and didn’t listen. *Some* parents also seemed to just switch off from parenting. On one occasion, two teenage boys were throwing a ball full force from one end of the pool to another trying to get it out of the pool so the other had to retrieve it. It kept hitting people, their sunbeds, and umbrellas and despite many of us complaining to the lifeguards, the parents couldn’t care less when the lifeguard spoke with them. We decided to go out for 3 days to get away from the hotel during the day as it just wasn’t pleasant to be around the pool during the days. (We did approach guest services to highlight the above but the blonde male member of staff literally could not have cared less). -There’s next to no air-con in the main building, especially the main restaurant, which made it really uncomfortable to eat there. -In our view, the hotel was very child-centred. This is of course fantastic for families, but we wished we knew beforehand just how much it was. The pool at the bottom is described as a ‘chill zone’ but children are allowed in the pool and at the swim-up bar which we thought was odd; it would’ve been nice to have had one pool which was adults-only. This point is of course totally on us and our fault for not researching enough beforehand. -There are 3 al a carte restaurants but despite us staying for 10 nights, we were only permitted to two visits per stay. -You can only change your pool towels every 3 days. We found this bizarre and unhygienic, every other all-inclusive resort we have stayed in have allowed daily pool towel changes. -The evening entertainment is of a really poor standard. The majority of the night is dedicated to the children (absolutely fine) but the rest of it is pretty bad and so most nights we came back to our room after dinner. Overall we were quite disappointed after reading such glowing reviews. The biggest point for us was the atmosphere created by other guests; at times it felt like a 2* adults-only hotel in Benidorm and not a 5* resort in Greece. Perhaps we were unlucky and went at a time where there were large, loud groups, but it unfortunately put us off ever coming back.

Our 2nd stay at Atlantica Aegean Blue and sadly will be our last time. We came in 2025, got engaged on the holiday, brought our 1 year old daughter, were very much wowed with the 5* hotel, staff, luxury element to a family holiday. Sadly this year we were left really dissatisfied in the service and quality and safety. Hotel still lovely and clean as we remember, rooms are nice, housekeeping is consistent every day, mini fridge gets replenished often, all inclusive dining is decent, no dodgy tummies we ate there breakfast and lunch every day, had a few meals out local but all in all can’t complain at the food, the preparation, the variety etc. Sadly our holiday was closely ruined on our 2nd day. I was sat (literally sat) in the NON SWIMMER area, the most shallow part of the main pool, with my 2 year old daughter. The aqua sports Zumba was on and we were enjoying a little sat down dance together minding our own business. The pools are very busy, it is a family hotel granted and there is a lot of kids everywhere to be noted. Two boys, around 10 years old were playing with LARGE plastic water pistol shooters around 1 metre in length the pistols were, and I said politely to the boys please be careful as they were play wrestling each other very rapidly in the baby area. I was there with my little girl, and around 3 other parents and tiny babies sat on the edge. Moments later, I was completely smacked with excess force across my face with the water pistol. I am a 32 year old mother, sat with my 2 year old toddler in the baby area and I was completely smacked. Immediate shock kicked in as I felt blood dripping down my face and instantly blacked out. A few guests helped me and the pool area was shocked all around everyone could see what had just happened. I managed to get myself and my toddler out the pool and to the lifeguard I was in a state of shock and couldn’t believe what just happened. Inches away from my eyes and inches away from my daughter’s face! I received first aid treatment instantly and was provided a seat and water by other holiday guests. The instant ‘egg’ bruise and bleeding on my head was huge, my daughter was crying she was scared what had happened to her Mummy. The lifeguards were great and tended to me for around 20 minutes and provided me with extra dressings and ice packs. An incident report was to be completed by the lifeguard and she took all of my details. My husband located the boys from the pool area and their family and found that the parents to the boys were sat drunk across the sun loungers with no remorse or care in the world! Lifeguard said incidents had been happening a lot recently no matter how much they tell people, the drunk parents do not listen. We went back up to our room for the rest of the evening and I took some pain relief medication and kept the ice on my head but nonetheless this completely shocked us that this happened. The incident could have been so much worse had it hit our daughter we would have ended up in hospital. I was intending to go and complain to management so I went down later that evening to be told the manager was not available and come back tomorrow at 10am. All evening hotel guests spotted me and were asking how I was, with the large cut to my head and swelling. As the week went on, no incident report was sent to me, no hotel staff acknowledged or mentioned anything to us, we chose the leave it at that as to me, if a health and safety incident has happened then management would have been made aware in the morning briefing, no apology no nothing from the hotel. Completely not what you expect in a 5* hotel to get smacked across your face in the baby pool and then the rest of the week the same pool toys/ bombing diving into the pool/ water guns/ balls being kicked around the pool. Felt like a playground! So unsafe and sadly we won’t return here due to this incident and safety!
