La Marquise

La Marquise, the chosen destination for our dream beach wedding in September 2026 and we weren't disappointed! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, decorated with ambient lighting and sparkling chandeliers. Our package was perfect for our requirements and took the stress away that can sometimes be associated with planning a wedding. We met with Mr Frank Nikolitsis, Anna-Maria and Liam Tsambasis to finalise arrangements prior to the day- they were professional, offerering advise and seemed as excited as we were at times. We were well looked after by the Wedding Coordinators and Mr Frank on a daily basis.They would always greet us around the complex and invested time in talking to us ensuring our stay was perfect. Undoubtedly this is the best and most welcoming hotel complex we have ever stayed in. Housekeeping was to a very high standard and the bar and waiting staff were all full of fun and personality, namely Mark, T-J, George Jeriel , Joseph seph and Christos. Michail and Markill were fantastic captains too. The Coffee house was a welcome escape from the heat of the day where we were served drinks and sweet delights by Erinola who's service and charm was always outstanding. As were were black card holders we were able to enjoy breakfast at L'Etoile ala Carter restaurant where the talented Paolo cooked our chosen dishes effortlessly- the service was incredible from Jonita and Kostas who were warm and welcoming everyday. Ada and her team at Grill Corner coped very well with our table of 17 hungary guests too-she showed great organisation and professionalism throughout. Reception staff are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable in fact, it seems all the staff work incredibly hard all day long, nothing phases them and they always have a smile for their guests. The buggy drivers were always busy, waving to us as they ferry people to and from the beach along with taking newcomers to their rooms and departing guests to the pick up points. Having a mother in law with mobility issues it was heart warmimg to see the lifegaurd take extra care of her in and out the pool. We are very sad to be leaving tomorrow 😢 because it feels like we are leaving a new family behind - lots of love to all at La Marquise ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 💜 💕 💗

We had the most amazing 2 weeks here from 22nd August - 5th September!! The hotel is absolutely stunning, grounds are beautiful and everything is so clean. Every member of staff we came across was helpful and friendly, particularly at the pool bars and restaurants, they really can’t do enough for you! We got married here on the 28th and it was the perfect wedding ceremony outside of the chapel area, again all staff involved couldn’t do enough for us. The pools are very cold but they’re absolutely fine once you’re in and actually nice and refreshing (needed in the blistering heat)!! It does get windy some days so I’d recommend taking towel clips. There’s always sun beds available so no morning rush. There was a lot of us there so we did reserve our beds to make sure we were seated together, again this was never a problem. It’s lovely and quiet during the day which is really relaxing. Beach area is lovely too and a good place to chill. Entertainment is quite minimal but there’s enough on during the day like darts, water polo, etc, they just aren’t advertised very well so be sure to check signs in reception and the app which is helpful too. Evening entertainment is only on around 3/4 nights per week but very good, the other nights we spent in Faliraki or Rhodes town which are both worth venturing out to and easy to get to either via taxi (between $15-20) or bus which stops right outside of the hotel (around €2). Food is absolutely amazing and we never had a bad meal whilst we were there. The Asian and Grill à la carte restaurants are fab and worth booking, but the buffet restaurants always have a good variety and lovely food (menus are put outside of the main restaurant every day for both lunch and evening meal so you can check whether there will be something you like). Coffee house is lovely too and serves cakes, sandwiches and pizza slices if you go early enough, but I do think a snack bar would be useful. Overall a fantastic stay and wedding at this lovely hotel and we’ll absolutely be back in the future!!

Went here for 2 weeks at the end of August, our first visit to Rhodes. The hotel is centrally placed for Old Rhodes Town, Kalithea and Lindos. An impressive hotel and lots of space, all areas were always very clean. We stayed in the adult area, in a ground floor junior suite. This ticked so many boxes for us, we had 2 allocated sunloungers outside our room which was poolside. The room was spacious and there was a bath as well as a shower. One negative about the room is that the mini bar is stocked with soft drinks on arrival, but not again, it would be good for this to be topped up during the stay. We wanted a relaxing break and we got this, the adult area was quiet and it had its own bar area run by the lovely carlos. The pools were a bit on the cold side but not unbearable and a relief on the really hot days. Only people staying in the adult only area could use the facilities here which includes the sunloungers so it was never too busy. The food is good and with plenty of choice. We ate at the Al la carte restaurants during our stay and the food was good in every one. However men are expected to wear long trousers and closed shoes in the restaurants even the DaVinci restaurant which I didn't understand as usually it only applies to the Al a carte restaurants. The staff were all helpful and spoke really good English! We must give a particular shout out to Ernie in the DaVinci restaurant, for always looking after us. George on the pool bar & Crystal bar always happy and smiling. Christos who worked so hard in the Crystal Bar and last but not least Savvas the barman at the Crystal Bar for the laughs and excellent service. Thank you for making our holiday one too remember.

Lovely tranquil resort. Stayed in adults only area in a junior suite with my husband and daughter. Room was lovely and no battle for sun beds! Only issue was the sofa bed made into a bed so we lost our lounge seating. The room was plenty big enough to add a single bed which should be taken into consideration. Very clean all round and service good. As others mentioned there could have been more evening entertainment as we didn’t venture out. Food is plentiful and there is a quiet area for adults only in the main restaurant, however agreed with others that the food was warm so battered items were not crispy but a bit dry. Ample choice but not the best we’ve experienced. Any things raised with the staff were well attended to so can’t complain. Was a nice overly relaxing break which we enjoyed overall.

What can I say about La Marquise Hotel? I’ve travelled abroad for years, and this is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We booked a room in the adults-only area, which cost a little more but was well worth it. The TUI rep was local and had been in the role for 40 years. It was refreshing to attend a welcome meeting that wasn’t just a sales pitch. He knew the island incredibly well and shared plenty of useful tips and advice, it was genuinely informative. The food was outstanding all week, with plenty of choice most nights and several themed evenings. As guests in the adults-only area, we could also have breakfast upstairs, which we used, and it meant we could visit the à la carte restaurants more than once. My only disappointment was Seafood Night. I’m not a fan of seafood, or fish in general, so my options were limited, although the food did look amazing. The bar offered many branded drinks as part of the all-inclusive menu, along with a huge cocktail list that we gradually worked our way through. It was great to see the bar staff make each cocktail from scratch, and the evening table service was also very good. We enjoyed the shows too, especially Jersey Boys. There were plenty of pools to choose from, but I wasn’t as keen on the beach. The sand was more like grit, and drinks at the beach bar had to be paid for separately because they weren’t included in the all-inclusive package. Faliraki was only a short bus ride away. The fare was just €1.50 each, and the bus stop was on the road by the supermarket. It’s well worth a visit. Overall, the staff were lovely, and I appreciated that the hotel enforced its rules consistently. For example, anyone entering the coffee shop without a shirt was politely asked to leave. In the adults-only bar, guests were asked for their room number; if they weren’t staying in an adults-only room, they could still order a drink, but there was a charge. I would definitely return to this hotel.
