Bali Tropic Resort & Spa

Sold as all inclusive but is not All inclusive as welcome lists items not available which is misleading. Drinks all poor quality, food ok, room ok. Lovely grounds & gardens, & all staff excellent !! But don’t think we will be going back.

Gorgeous location and beautiful character buildings and rooms - the aesthetics were extraordinary. We loved it. The location was perfect as well - we wanted a reasonably private and quiet resort. The price was in line with quality of the resort. Stayed in the Royal Room. Food was great and so were the cocktails and views. The reception and all staff were wonderful and friendly. Some of the things that weren't that great were the cold stone floors with no covering - and getting out of the shower - which is in the same room as the bed - so with the humidity from air and shower - the bedsheets were wet all the time, and the floor was very slippery. The aircon didn't make it better because wet+cold. Maybe a wall, or dehumidifier in the ceiling, would be good so to separate the shower and bedroom. Otherwise - it's very clean, everywhere. Beautiful landscaping and very neat staff and grounds. The Spa experience was great for our couples' body therapies - serene and relaxing. Perfect. However my husband's pedicure went badly - the nail technician dug into my husband's toe nails and made him bleed from multiple toes, and he asked her to stop but she kept going until I came in and took him away.

Lovely hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful and food was of very high quality.

We arrived at Bali Tropic Resort late one afternoon and we stayed for just over a week. From the start we noticed how friendly and helpful the team were. The checkin was easy and our bags were in the room in no time. We especially liked the location, the beach was very clean, our room was kep spotless the whole time. We ate at the Resort a lot of the time and the food was good quality and the menu varied a lot from one day to the next. We hope to stay again at the Bali Tropic.

Clean and quiet location next to the beach with good restaurants and facilities. A comfortable walk along the beachfront into the Bali Collection, and near to the southern Bali attractions. Opportunities for improvement would be some comfortable sitting chairs in the room. Room information should make it clear that some rooms have no view because of the wall directly outside the doors on the ground floor. It appeared that other resorts were catering to the younger age groups, but this one was well suited to us (ie we are around 600) - though we didn't know about this at the time of booking.
