Firstly, The staff at BLUESEA Corralejo village are so warm and friendly. From reception to bar staff to the cleaners. So so impressed. A real credit to the hotel and that created such a warm and friendly vibe. The food - thought we’d get bored as we stayed for ten days but it was tasty, varied and fresh. Couldn’t fault the food and drinks on the all inclusive package. The rooms and amenities are all great, it’s not too big a resort so it never felt overcrowded except on a few meal times after a new influx of visitors. Rooms all done to a nice spec , clean and modern. Air con … but it clicks off if you open a door. Energy saving !!! Entertainment was fun and the animation team were good, not too in your face ! Enjoyed a few games of water polo. There are two pools - one large one and a small shallow kids pool. Not heated during summer so was a shock at first but in the heat it’s a blessing. I have read some reports about green algae on some reviews - it’s not it’s just the concrete coming through. The pool does need a paint and some repairs but it didn’t distract from our fun. Location in the heart of Corralejo is great , some local beaches minutes away but best beaches probably need a taxi /car or bus.

Starting with the positives, the location is fantastic, just off the main strip, close to the shops and restaurants, beach and only five minute walk to the water park. The staff are predominantly very friendly and efficient, one barman was a wee bit moody! The pool towels are a welcome offering and we didn't mind the small 1 euro charge if we wanted to swap for fresh ones. The restaurant for meals is wonderfully bright and welcoming with seating for all numbers, we've done quite a few all inclusive holidays and this was one of the nicest restaurants. As a family of five we are usually a seating inconvenience but not here. We had a lovely round table each time. The food offering is fairly standard for a Spanish all inclusive. It could possibly benefit from a little more variety, maybe themed nights etc although there was a BBQ offering one night the week we stayed. We had two rooms, a standard double which was a lovely room and a one-bed for our three older teens. I wasn't keen on their room. I found it a bit dingy and it smelt of damp but we never did figure out the reason, possibly the internal bathroom. Rooms were serviced efficiently daily with fresh towels which was great. I had emailed the hotel in advance asking for rooms with sunny balconies for private sunbathing as I knew there was only one pool but our allocated double room balcony got a hilarious 3 inches of sunshine all day long, we were guaranteed shade basically!! I also enquired about rooms close to each other and paying for upgrade to make this possible to which reception told me to ask reservations and reservations told me to ask reception so no luck there either. Generally requests were met with a bit of a "computer says no" attitude. We decided not to ask for late check out (anticipating a no to this too!) instead heading off early for a lovely day in the capital. It was a pleasant enough holiday but I wouldn't stay here again. I found it a tad claustrophobic with just the one main pool (smaller adjacent kiddie pool) and seeing the same faces day in day out, I'd prefer to have more options and have stayed in an alternate resort, same price which had numerous pools. I know all inclusive resorts have to be more hard wearing than regular hotels but some of the pool brollys were ripped, the sunbed tables cracked/ broken and during our stay one of the pool ladders was broken too. It was also the first time I was treated to the sight of people queueing and stampeding to claim sunbeds with towels, possibly because there weren't enough umbrellas to go around. A bed without a brolly in 30 degrees wasn't fun. Advice to those staying is to ask for an upstairs room if you're able for steps, you might get a sunny balcony.

Family of 2 adults 2 older teens just returned from a 10 night stay. We did have a nice holiday but the hotel was disappointing and I wouldn’t say that this hotel is a 4* or worth the amount we paid, spent a lot more than we thought we would due to eating and drinking out. Would be better reducing the prices 3* and being half board not all inclusive! Main points:- Great location Friendly staff €1 for a cup to get a drink at side of pool refunded when you take the cup back. Sun beds aren’t opened until 9am Snack bar doesn’t serve food until 3pm and then it’s a hot dog, a sandwich or some nachos with plastic cheese Towels aren’t great, free to begin with then €1 to change them No kids disco was on while we were there Hotel needs some work Food very basic Full review The staff worked hard in the restaurant/bars the entertainment guy worked hard as well and they were lovely on reception. The hotel is in need of an upgrade, it is looking worn, the pool has broken tiles, umbrellas broken, air con in one of the rooms was like an asthmatic mouse. The sofa bed was partially broken and the light in the bathroom barely lit it up. The apartment floors weren’t cleaned at all during our stay and I don’t think they changed the bedding twice during our stay! We did get fresh towels most day though which was good, The shower in the room was more like a hose pipe shower than anything else and the air con in the kids room was like an asthmatic mouse. The food wasn’t great, very basic, nothing special even on the themed nights. The evening entertainment wasnt great, a quiz one night done by the entertainment team and the rest didn’t start until 9:30pm and was finished at 10:30pm. There was no mini disco for the kids either which although I went with older kids I did feel sorry for those with younger ones who didnt get it! Location wise it was amazing just a short walk to the main section and plenty of places around for food and drinks.
