It was amazing. The hotel: the food was really good, the accomodation was good . Lia who did the video, she is really cute

Nice family hotel, but nothing special. Good sized pool area for the size of hotel. However the pool floor was cracked/damaged and there was a lot of mould. Tiles around the pool are VERY slippy when wet - we saw five people have accidents in a week. There is the usual rush to put towels on sunbeds, which is completely unmonitored by the hotel staff. The rooms are fairly big, and ours was well maintained. there were some minor cleanliness issues with backs of shelves dusty, but nothing major. The food was a real highlight - we've stayed in plenty of all inclusive hotels, and the quality here was good. We've certainly been places with more variety, but there was always enough interesting things on offer with fresh fish dishes, various meat dishes and a good salad selection. Desserts were also a highlight. We had issues at check in - we arrived at 2pm and were told that check in wasn't until 3, and the rooms weren't ready. Fair enough, so we went for a wander around the shops. We came back shortly after 3 and were then told that check-in was FROM 3pm. That's not what the what the receptionist said earlier, or what the sign on reception said! So we had to wait longer for the rooms to be cleaned - not ideal as we had young kids. The luggage room was full, so we had to leave bags unattended in the reception area during this time. There was an activities schedule on a poster near reception, but it was never followed. We tried to schedule our days around the activities the kids wanted to do, but we were always disappointed. We complained, and were told that they had issues with staffing but that they had spoked to the animation guy, and if we asked him he'd do whatever we wanted. We asked him to do the "magic carpet" on the pool that the kids had wanted to do, and he said "no, maybe tomorrow". (In fairness, he did then do it tomorrow.) The location is pretty good - right next to the main shopping/restaurant/bar road, but not too close to get road noise. 5 mins walk to the waterpark, 10 mins to a nice shopping centre (campanario), 15 mins to "popcorn beach".

I really enjoyed the excellent staff and their amazing qualities. The activities in the day for sports with Miguel were also a great aspect of the day. Lia and the forever Photo Booth were a great way to end our holiday on a good note.
