Riu Oliva Beach Resort

Me and my husband stayed at the Riu Olivia Beach in Fuerteventura for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. Our accommodation was located in the quieter apartments which was nice and chilled for us. We enjoyed a relaxing holiday. We noticed the main hotel was much more lively, so we were glad where we were. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly to speak to. We always made an effort to thank them for their service, as we could see they work hard. On our anniversary the hotel thoughtfully treated us to chocolates and sparkling wine. We liked our apartment apart from the not so good AC. However, the hotel quickly responded with providing a fan. Our Tui rep assisted with this too! So we slept much better. Also there was a minor leak which was dealt within 30 mins of reporting it. We appreciated the hotel's prompt action. We noticed water supply stopped about 1AM for a few nights in a row and also the occasional sewerage smell in the apartment. We did not report this as it wasn't constant and may have been a municipal cause? The resort could do with a refurbishment, updating and some maintenance. But it was clean and tidy. The food was nice. It was similar but you always had enough choice and variety. The location was great for the beach and the bus into Corralejo was a short walk. On our anniversary we booked a taxi to Corralejo from reception, as the taxi rank round the corner appeared more expensive.

This hotel is always very friendly and welcoming anything you ask for is never a problem The Hotel may seem dated in places but they are currently waiting on approval for a refurbishment but the location on a natural reserve is truly stunning

The hotel is very outdated. The pool area and the beach is amazing. Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The food was nice. The hotel rooms was really really clean every day.. drink service was fast! Five star star this hotel

This place is the best place in the canary islands, food is authentic and nice, beach is the best in canary islands hands down, you cannot get a beach like this in Europe, would i go back definitely yes, and i usually never go back to the same place.
