BLUESEA Marieta Spa

The hotel is very nice, we didnt spend much time in the room apart from sleeping and showering so we were more than happy. It had lovely air conditioning which was nice to cool off as it got very hot at times. The staff were always polite and not sure why people are complaining about the food due to lack of variation. We were just glad to have our food cooked for us, and there was plenty of variation. The pool was nice, it was small but we didn't go in it so it was fine. Lots of area to sunbathe including the roof if that's your thing. Very close to the beach as well. If I had to say anything negative it would be that in our room if you had a shower the whole bathroom got covered in water and you had to use your feet to kick it into the drain. Also, the only area with air conditioning is in the rooms, so if you are travelling when its hot, bring a fan with you as all other areas of the hotel can get a little humid.

Our 5 or 6th time here come for my birthday every year was a bit worried as always stayed under labranda but now blue sea was not disappointed still the same loved our time here a chilled out hotel loved rooftop bar spent most days there relaxing Staff are great. rooms good Will be back

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Holiday We Have Ever Had! Our stay at BLUESEA Marieta was genuinely one of the best holidays we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, valued and exceptionally well looked after. The hotel was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. Our room and all communal areas were kept to an excellent standard every day. The food was outstanding—fresh, delicious and well presented, with an excellent variety of choices available. Every member of staff contributed to making our holiday so special. The reception, restaurant, bar, housekeeping and all other hotel teams were friendly, professional, hardworking and always willing to help. The quality of the services and facilities throughout the hotel was exceptional. What truly demonstrated the character of BLUESEA Marieta was the care and support we received after the unfortunate incident in which Anna broke her hand. During a very stressful and worrying time, the staff treated us with genuine compassion, patience and kindness. Their assistance made an enormous difference, and we will never forget how well they looked after us. The complimentary vouchers were an incredibly generous and thoughtful gesture. They made us feel that the hotel genuinely cared about our wellbeing and wanted to ensure the incident did not spoil our holiday. Despite everything that happened, we still had an absolutely wonderful time. The fantastic atmosphere, excellent food, exceptional cleanliness, outstanding service and remarkable care from the entire team turned a difficult situation into a holiday filled with beautiful memories. You should all be extremely proud of the experience you provide for your guests. We recommend this hotel without hesitation and would be delighted to return. Fantastic holiday! We wanted somewhere quiet and calm to relax with good food close to the beach and this was perfect. The roof terrace and bar are lovely. The pool downstairs needs some TLC as paint is peeling but this didn’t take away from all the positive points of the hotel (I imagine given the high quality of the rest of the hotel it will be redone soon). Every day there is an army of cleaners and despite other reviews if you are up early enough you will see the pool getting cleaned everyday as well as the two on the roof which were drained and tested. The food was varied and well cooked and you would have to be incredibly picky not to find something you like each night. We had a later flight and could leave luggage and then have a free shower in the spa before we left so felt we weren’t just sat waiting for a taxi but had another day relaxing by the pool. Will definitely return.

Loved the location so near the beach but hundreds of steps to get down. Very quiet atmosphere but saying that was really nice and lots of young people but mature nice adults no rowdiness. Our room was small and the view was awful but we were only in the room to sleep and change. We were first floor looking one a tin roof and where the Wednesday and Saturday market is ( massive market) so near . Great value because so immaculate and food was great , my daughter and I eat very healthy and we were very happy and impressed with the healthy choices, just they need to fix the cold cabinets and they need air conditioning in restaurant and lobby it’s stifling in both areas. Our air conditioning was crap in the room also . I saw two cockroaches 🪳 and was rather shocked because the hotel is immaculate but I suppose they get these creatures in very hot places . I killed one and someone else killed the great big one . Entertainment was pretty good most nights but for the bingo jeez he was boring was that guy . Some staff was really nice and friendly but the barman on the rooftop bar was not . He was called Niko and was really rude to my daughter and I and told me he couldn’t speak English but I was told by another member of staff that he could so I told him to his face how rude he was . Luckily he went on holiday and we got a lovely pleasant guy then who was so very nice. Would we return no but we enjoyed it and made it ok by not bothering about the bits we didn’t like . Would I recommend this hotel yes but only if they sorted out their air conditioning because in extreme heat like that 39/41 degrees it was unbearable in the bedroom and restaurant . We were so grateful for the outside dinning area because of the none existing air conditioning in the dining area. The rooftop pool is so beautiful and chilled out atmosphere and the views are amazing from there. But I went down to the main pool for my swims , they are just plunge pools on the rooftop. If you have a late flight home you can book to have a shower before you go, we booked a shower down in the spa.
