Elba Premium Suites

First impressions, its 'nice' smooth check-in and receptionist friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms - we booked a prestige room, is it worth it? Not in my opinion, robes, slippers, and nespresso capsules (which are only replaced if you ask,not as a general replenishment by housekeeping) Spa access is included, but to be honest unless it was the winter season then why would you use it. Rooms are nice but scuffs and dents in the walls are noticeable,doesn't effect your stay but they could do with a bit of TLC. All inclusive.... 4 cocktails included the rest you have to pay for, (we even upgraded to prestige - that doesn't matter). Food is average in the main adults only buffet restaurant, we even tried the family restaurant which actually was nicer although in high season I wouldn't want to be in there as I can imagine it would be heaving. Plates in both areas were dirty. I had to pick at least 4 plates up yo find a clean one. Adults only bar is nice and chilled and relaxing, great singers and music. We are here mid September its hardly busy which is nice, however don't book an Adults only prestige suite thinking you can easily get a sun lounger at the Adults only pool, something you would think would be almost guaranteed!! It's not. There are about 50 sunloungers to 200 people plus that have paid for prestige service so unless you put your towel down at 7.30am there is no chance! However its mid September and the main pool is empty so plenty of beds but not the point, but disappointed. Although they offer late check out as complementary apparently they are at full capacity in mid September (I don't think so, the hotel has been empty all week!) So this is a no so why advertise it. Summary. 4 star at a push. Basic Spanish hotel, ok for a girls trip but I will continue to travel further a field for a family holiday where you get more value for money, I won't be back. Shame.

Arrived at 01.30 in the morning got checked in and went to our room no air conditioning and room was very dirty hairs on shower floor broken tiles and dirty pull out bed and no bedding,went back to reception and told him he said I'll send someone down Security guard arrived with a wet pillow we told him it was no acceptable went back to reception and told him we needed another room or could we speak to manager he said no manager in hotel on nights so back to room picked our cases up and sat in reception until a room came available 30 minutes later he give us another room 03.30 by this time went to bed unpacked our cases in the morning and went for breakfast, we heard public relations manager wanted to see us went we went to see him he said we had to vacate that room as it wasn't ours and another one would be available in 1 hour so back to room to pack our cases 3 hours later got our room (yippee) but it wasn't that easy as we we inspected it it was just as bad as the first room hairs and brown stains on shower tray floor got manager back down he said give him 1 hour to get it cleaned so by the time this was all done it was 16.00 not what you want on first day so would not recommend this hotel save your money and book somewhere else .

An amazing hotel, with lovely staff. Especially chus who provided both great service and entertainment! Would definitely recommend this hotel.
