Elba Premium Suites

Quiet location 15 to 20 minutes walk away from Playa Blanca , no sea views . We booked an adults only Prestige Suite which isn't worth the extra for what you get . Not totally adult only as its shared with Elba Royal Resort family hotel . They have two so called " A'La Carte " resteraunts , one only open at weekends , neither are A'La Carte , the Italian LaNonna restaurant was dreadful , starter is just a buffet salad bar , plates were absolutely filthy ,we had to go through a stack of plates before finding a clean one . Main courses quite boring , myself and my wife both had Tagliatelle and ended up being violently sick all night with food poisoning !!! Wine was dreadfull we didn't stay for desert . The Normal buffet in the adults resteraunt was much better , on the Saturday we ate at the French Brassier restaurant, again that was dreadfull , self service buffet salad starter , we had the " selection of cooked meats ( mixed grill for two ) absolutely dreadful and so overcooked and dry that it was inedible ... complained but no follow up and no appologies . We had Prestige Suite , the shower base was encased in black mould and most of the time there was no more than a dribble of water from the shower and when there was any preasure it was dangerous as there was no thermal protection , the shower would go from freezing cold to scalding hot on its own . As other reviews point out the stink / smell of sewers / sewerage at the adult pool bar/ restaurant is dreadfull . They say they have a policy of NO reserving sunbeds by placing towels or belongings on the sun beds but they didn't enforce this , so unless you went to the adult pool at 7:30am there was no chance of getting a sun bed . Food and snacks at the adult pool bar was quite boring and limited , the pizza was quite nice though . Having said all that ,We would have returned to.the hotel next year and booked Larger Yaiza Suite but reception wouldn't guarantee that we would get one with one double bed rather than two singles so we have booked a different Hotel . Any replies to complaints are stock off the shelf replies . We wont use this chain of hotels again , we made a serious complaint of food poisoning to reception staff , we were told customer services would be in touch IMEDIATELY but no one contacted us . Not Recommended .

Moved from suite 262 after 2 days of complaining to this suite 314. No difference. It’s still Mouldy, dirty and dusty air conditioning. For what you pay at these suites you would expect better cleaning.

We relly enjoy our hollyday here at Elba hotels Lanzarote.

First tine here and I have tot admit we enjoy

Horrendous. Went half board here for 10 nights and had 2 dinners and 3 lunches. Quality of food poor cleanliness of Adult restaurant awful. Witnessed cross contamination of raw and cooked meats many times and witnessed chef pick up raw meat place on grill then pick up chips put for customers and eat them with same glove. First night at 2015 was told some of the advertised food was "finished" even though restaurant was open till 2130. Complained to hotel and even named staff members. Reported back saying staff member was sorry and promised never to do this again. Wow. Restaurant tables always grubby floor mucky, leftover food left on tables for ages. Restaurant at adult pool always smelled of sewage. Worst hotel ever. Avoid
