Hotel Cinco Plazas

2 ad, 1 x 13 yr, 1 x 6yr old, 2 weeks 20 aug -3 sept We had a 2 bed appartment up by the splash pool which was hardly used so very quiet area (should of been left as a 3rd pool ) The room was very clean with towels and bedding refreshed every other day. The aircon was in the living area and both bedrooms. The kitchen area had 2 big pans a frying pan with 2 hob rings, a microwave., a toaster, kettle and phillips Lor barrista machine. The fridge was a normal small fridge with little ice box in the top good for ice lollies. The balcony had a little washing airer and table with 4 chairs . The smaller pool was our favourite and the cleanest best condition while the big pool was in need of renovation with alot of thr little tiles loose or missing leaving gaps and the pool floor needed a good pool hoover out. The VIP sunbeds were 30euros a day and the normal sunbeds had lots of people waiting for them to be unlocked to put towels on and many not used until later in the day which is very unfair, the English and Irish seem worse than Germans for this now with some idiotically putting towels down to claim their space before beds are unlocked. We usually swam after 4pm so didnt have a problem at the smaller pool. We only ate from the pool bar once which was ok at best and the restaurant us no longer open. The staff we found to be all very friendly. Our Tui rep was great his bame was Dave The Tui kids club we only used 1 morning so we could pack ready for coming home but he enjoyed his session playing with other kids and doing crafts. The hotel shop was ok and stocked most things but with Hyper Dino next door we used there moor or walked to macedonia or lidl and got a taxi back. The hotel is up a bank (not cardiac hill) but it does have places to stop for a drink or food on the wat up or down the hill. We had a great holiday and would definitley come back.

Very nice clean one bedroom apartment with air conditioning has everything you need overlooking second pool. As an animal lover was delighted to have dedicated area to feed the cats daily ! Can’t comment on food or drink as ate out only problem I could see was sun bed allocation we never got one once all week was like a circus every morning other than that nice clean complex with nice staff and cleaners up bit of a hill if u mobility issues and very near main strip

Visited with two teens and a tween- location to main strip great but yes it is on a hill so if not fit and able will need taxi back up at end of night. The strip is very long runs along beach front flat and very nice with palm trees lit up of a night turn right for livelier bars /mix of restaurants Indian / Chinese / Italian / American diners lots of live acts - bingo arcades turn left for slightly quieter restaurants bars more upmarket shops mini golf . Room on arrival was clean all what was needed in there including full utensil drawer microwave fridge stove pans plates glasses cups kettle toaster coffee machine all clean and pretty new. The rooms are not cleaned every day which is explained but a mop / brush are provided. We did get new towels each day. 1 bedroom apartment had twin beds together in bedroom and two seperate sofa beds in lounge very spacious wardrobe in living room and bedroom. 3 pool areas main pool does need retiling small mosaic tiles and lots missing but no one had cut feet no water shoes worn 1.5m mainly so bit deep for little ones cafe / bar restaurant by this one - top pool a lot nicer and more shallow for smaller ones to touch floor maybe worth a request for a room near this one if younger children.baby pool Next to main pool and Splash area not really a pool but a run through area for little ones. Entertainment- believe was mini disco but was out music quiz one night but generally people wander out as lots going on down the strip and cheap day time odd game of water polo aqua aerobics but low key there is a Games rooms and nice terrace at top worth a visit. Food drink reasonable price see pics of menus - can get in takeaway boxes , cabana beds by main pool 30 euro for the day worth booking if got a late flight. Courtesy room provided for half an hour to get shower again pre book soon as arrive - luggage room provided- got taxi from airport 15 minutes and only 20 euros so beat the check in que and was able to use courtesy room before coach arrived as rooms not available until 2-3pm and we arrived early .if getting a good price you can not moan would recomend -out and about - done Costa teguise water park 30 euro in taxi really old and dirty would not recomend ! Got taxi from water park into Costa teguise centre lovly resort quieter but still lots restaurants more tapas style and beach is stunning, believe Texas rancho a lot better option and can make a day of it. Mini golf down the road 15 min walk to the left is indoors and cheap worth a visit to entertain kids - spinnakers restaurant next to hotel above supermarket great views good prices and great Sunday roast go early as gets really busy and wait a while live music and pool table for kids ,Also visited spoons restaurant by the mini golf couple times for food great price live music good views across sea.

Apartments very clean always fresh towels every second day , pool was lovely and nice staff especially Jon Peter the life guard and absolute legend, made everyone’s time that was there and joined in on the craic .

Lovely family friendly self catering hotel. Ideal for young families. Rooms very nice, clean, and well maintained.
