Hotel Cinco Plazas

My 4th time here and my honest review. The hotel location couldn’t be more perfect and the hotel has all the basic needs, however the rooms definitely need an upgrade but you get what you pay for. The beds and bathroom was overall clean however the floors didn’t feel it feet were black after walking on them but for the price you can’t complain towels and bedding changed regularly. Staff are generally nice really lovely lady at reception only one mardy man who was a bit rude. The main family pool needs sorting asap the tiles are all broken and cut many people needs to be like the other pool as it is dangerous. Security told us off for smoking a cigar on a balcony but other people was smoking weed and that was fine. I would say the place has slightly gone downhill from my first stay but I love the location so I will continue to come here. Entertainment by the pool was absolutely amazing for children lots to do snack bar was reasonably priced. Overall the stay was good and our room actually had two balconies one overlooking the pool and one with a partial sea view which was lovely and unexpected but was in a noisy area we do prefer being around the quiet pool with less children which is usually where they put you if no children with you. I paid £2000 for 3 adults 11 nights so can’t really complain.

Fantastic holiday,lovely well equipped and clean apartment,nice pool area with lots of beds although space is limited. Staff are really friendly and helpful. This was our second visit,we will be back next year,location is perfect.

Overall a very positive experience- the room we stayed was quiet and a bit away from everything which is what we wanted, but still accessible to all the amenities. Staff were very helpful and have no complaints. We didn’t use the restaurant but the snack bar beside the main pool was a godsend at times. It is very close to a Hyper Dino so you can get most of your requirements close by. There is a small “Supermarket” on site but that was actually more expensive than the snack bar. It is close to the strip and is easy to be on the strip in six minutes. There are three pools, the main pool is 5ft deep - there is a toddler pool beside it which is much shallower. There is another pool which does have a graduated decent that also ends at 5ft. The downsides are the pools are bit dated and there are tiles missing which should be replaced and there are no where near enough umbrellas. And I saw some apartments taking them home and bringing them out the following morning. If you have impaired mobility, the hill back from the strip is quite steep but you cannot blame the Establishment for geography.

We loved every bit of our stay this year we are returning families the past number of years, reception staff excellent especially the lady with the short hair, snack bar staff amazing apart from one Spanish lady who I found very rude not only to me but to most people waiting to be served she could most definitely work on her people skills the old staff that we remember from over the years were so kind chatty and made going to the snack bar much better I used to avoid the bar when the lady was on, lifeguards (hero’s) especially jp (little Pete) was amazing he interacted with our children made them feel welcome but most importantly kept them safe he is a credit to the team also the girl with the glasses I can’t remember her name im so so bad with names she is also very good and helpful with the children the rest of the team didn’t look like they wanted to be there I never once got a smile or hello from any of the others we were also there when the incident with one of them involved the police was very scary indeed we were based at main pool, Also the tiles in the main pool could most definitely use some attention the children had more cuts and hurt feet from these, it didn’t effect the children as much as it did me as I worried so much, The splash area is a waste of space in my opinion they should most definitely put the pool back there it might stop the main pool being so busy and the dreaded sunbed wars.! Entertainment in evening needs looking at Cinco has a lovely space upstairs that could be used for shows, entertainment etc I kno down the strip has lots to do but some evenings you just like to chill in the hotel Hotel staff before arrival we had requested our family’s be close together and they tried there most best to do this for us and we are forever grateful 3 out of the 4 family’s was placed together and the lovely kind lady at the desk tried for 3days to get my daughter and grandson next to us it didn’t happen but I will be forever thankful that she even tried, cleaning staff was great too I loved having a little chat with them lovely and kind we are already booked for next year and I am hoping the WiFi is better as having 3 small children some with additional needs & autism the WiFi in the evening is my saviour.. we look forward to seeing our Cinco family again in 2027 and a massive well done to everyone at Cinco for looking after us so well we appreciate you all so much
