Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

This hotel is truly perfect. There is nothing that I would want more of, or less of. It is immaculately clean and efficient and professional at all times, but what makes it really special is the quality and friendliness of the staff. Particularly Naomi on reception who is so lovely and so helpful. She has resolved every issue we have had with a smile, even when we were being daft. She has booked us onto two wonderful trips that the hotel recommend. Firstly to see the volcano and the one to see the dolphins. These were really special and my adult children loved them both. The restaurant is also perfect and the staff are all so lovely. Camilo is the loveliest person in the world and we would come back here just for him. All the other restaurant staff are so nice especially the chap on the BBQ. They really made our stay here so happy and so special. The buffet breakfast and dinner have both been wonderful. We have eaten here most evenings and there has been such a wide choice that anyone could find something they like. I really like the fresh fruit and salads and that the dishes change every day. We loved the canaries themed night, and really everything about it. I have already recommended this to my friends. Also there's a lovely beach nearby with a million fish you can see without needing any special equipment. This holiday has been a dream come true for me

As a family of 4 Having returned from our first visit to Oasis Lanz, I can confirm the positive reviews about the hotel are warranted. Food - we had the half board option and the breakfasts as everyone says were very good, with a wide range of food and drink for all. in the evening the restaurant was a little quieter but the food was consistently of a high standard, with a bit of everything which suited my family. Rooms - We had two different rooms, a junior executive and a deluxe, both were of a very high standard with the junior executive for 2 adults being bigger than some hotel rooms i've stayed in as a family of 4. After initially not getting the adapted room I requested on the second day we were moved to an adapted room as there was an issue with our aircon in the original room. Cleanliness - Hotel was clean throughout, with our rooms being cleaned every day. Personally I did not see any areas of mess. Noise levels - what Noise??? this was without doubt one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in, something we wanted as both my children are older teenagers. There was some music from the pool bar but in general if you wanted to relax this hotel was perfect. Pool Bar - the service was excellent but as people point out it closes at 10 so if you like a nightcap before bed it wasn't possible, but so many bars in the area it wasn't an issue for us. Pool/Pool Beds - My family did not have any problems finding pool beds at all during our stay and it didn't seem to matter what time you went to the pool there always appeared to be spare beds. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the heated pools, but unfortunately it appears they switched this off as another guest had complained of them being too hot??? Location - one of the major appeals of this hotel, is the fact it is situated just a few minutes walk from everything, the square, the beaches, bars, restaurants etc Everything is on your doorstep. I have only given the review a 4 out of 5 as there was one issue we encountered during our stay. I am a wheelchair user so always hire a mobility scooter which the hotel is happy to accommodate and has adapted rooms which you can get the scooter up to easily. However this cant be said for access to the pools, As although there are ramps to the pools, hotel policy is such that scooters are banned from the pool area, so if I wanted to spend time with my family at the pool I was expected to obtain a wheelchair from reception, transfer from scooter to the wheelchair and be wheeled to the pool area, transfer out of the wheelchair and sit on low lying sun beds, the wheelchair then had to be returned to reception, then if I wanted to leave the pool area we had to get the wheelchair again from reception, be wheeled out to where I had left my scooter, transfer back into the scooter and then return the wheelchair to reception. Unfortunately I decided that this wasn't practical as I could have required this a few times an hour, so for the week I was there I only managed to spend time by the pool with my family on 1 day. Overall, it is a very good hotel, would I stay there again, for location, room quality, food etc it would be an easy yes, for the pool issue its a no.

First time to this hotel and we were pleasantly impressed. Came as a small group and had 3 x rooms, 2 of which had recently been renovated, one which was smaller and older. The newly refurbished rooms were huge, great amenities and balcony, albeit our room didn’t have a great view due to the palm trees in the way. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was plentiful with lots of options, no complaints. Bed was super comfy, staff friendly. The pool area is nice, I did however feel it was lacking in some atmosphere - no background music etc. Sun bed wise - same old same old, towels reserving them and on our first day we weren’t able to get any due to them all being reserved. All in all, a decent stay, I would come back if we were in Costa teguise again.

This was our first visit to this hotel. We booked this for a short getaway following a family bereavement. We read the reviews and thought we would book up as it came up as a good price. What a fab hotel this is! The complex houses alot of rooms/suites but in no way is this compromised. This hotel felt perfect and we couldn't fault it. It felt like a small and friendly hotel. The pools, the complex the decor, the staff were just excellent. It seems nothing is too much trouble. We chatted to people that had been returning for years and I can see why. It carries a chill friendly vibe and is situated in a great location close to everything. The reception staff were always smiling and Naomi and Yasmin were just lovely organising the right room for us. Thank you for making our perfect. We shall definitely book again.

3rd visit in the last 4 months to the oasis lanz . Staff on reception are excellent and could not be kinder . Rooms kept spotless and are modern and spacious . Breakfast was decent . Pools we never use as we go to beach everyday . Location is perfect for the main square and beach . Have already booked for next may would not stay anywhere else in Costa teguise . Superb hotel
