Came for a late summer week away and was looking for just a relaxing week by the pool. And that's what we got; it's not a fancy hotel, but the staff have been great. We got a room upgrade on arrival, and the all-inclusive drinks were good, with the bars open 10am till 12pm. The food was a bit mixed, and some more labelling of items would help, but the Italian restaurant was lovely, and I'd recommend everyone book a night there. The entertainment staff are superstars; they work long days and weeks putting activities and shows on, and they make an effort to include everyone and encourage you to join in. Davead, Paul and Dominic have been great fun and a laugh throughout the week, whether you are taking part or just watching from the side. I would definitely come back just because of the Animations team. Thanks for a super week Kate and Louise (Scotland)

We went for 11 nights in the summer holidays, paying £2,400 for 2adults and 2 children (1 is age 13 so often that’s more expensive) for all inclusive with TUI. The transfer from the airport took 45 minutes but we were lucky enough to be given a minibus with one other couple going to the hotel. That’s just luck of the draw, on the way back was 1.5hours. The hotel - we went with my parents and were given rooms next to each other as requested and it seems they do this generally. The hotel was clean - yes we had two cockroaches in our room but the rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard. I’m not sure the hotel could have done much more. The drinks - you get given a token which is slightly annoying but we took big cups and they happily filled them and that meant we didn’t have to que. the drinks are limited and the cocktails pre made but we were fully aware of the price we had paid and when booking made the decision to go with a cheaper hotel with the idea to eat out several nights etc. we found the food good and actually ended up only eating out twice. It was a standard buffet for all inclusive I would say - some pasta with two sauces every night then the generic chicken, some kind of stew, paella or risotto every night, chips, different roasted vegetables, salad bar and cheese. Every day they would have two things cooking on the grill generally one meat one fish. This was lovely and fresh generally. Occasionally was meat or fish we didn’t want but that was our own taste and they are catering for everyone. We booked the Italian once during our stay - they do pizza which the main buffet doesn’t do. The Italian the kids enjoyed but my parents found it very limited. It had pizza, the same pasta as main buffet and then some small tapas style ravioli, lasagne etc. it was very loud in there too - weirdly louder than the main restaurant. But as I said the children enjoyed it. I think if you want chicken nuggets, pizza etc every day there isn’t that choice in the main restaurant but if you’re happy with meat veg etc then you’ll be fine. There was chips every day. The entertainment team were great and very friendly. The entertainment could be a bit naff some nights eg karaoke but again for what we paid, you couldn’t be expecting big paid shows. The staff really tried and people had a laugh joining in. We were by the smaller pool and my children preferred this pool to the big pool - my youngest couldn’t stand on the bigger pool so we spent most of our time by the smaller pool. Some people complained one day that the bigger pool was closed for the afternoon due to someone being sick in it - I’m not sure what people think the hotel can do and personally found it reassuring that they completely clean it with chemicals before allowing people back in. Sunbeds - if you want an umbrella and come in school holidays you will need to get one early. We left yesterday and it was quietening down and didn’t need to get Sunbeds last few days. We hired a car and parking near the hotel is a bit of a nightmare. There’s a multi story up the road. The location is ok - not massives to walk too and it is very hilly. Just be prepared for walking around hills. Personally, we were very happy for the price we paid and what we got. We had a lovely holiday, enjoyed the pool and the food. The rooms were big and they made the sofa bed into two separate beds for my children which was appreciated.
