Best Tenerife

Three stars given for great staff, great location, and the potential to be a fantastic hotel. We did unfortunately have lots of issues. Full honest review Staff - all fantastic, cleaners doing a great job in rooms, chefs always churning more food, entertainment team working hard, maintenance teams responding very quickly. Everyone overall being polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms - 1st room was much smaller than photos had advertised & smelt very strongly of damp! It seemed appeared clean/tidy but very run down. We were moved the same night. 2nd room much bigger, smelt of fresh paint & was very modern. Unfortunately it was not without issues. The bathroom door didn’t ever close fully, the shower drain was blocked and needed fixing & on our very last morning, I returned to the room to shower & pack to find the toilet fully off the wall, staff explained to me that the people below us had complained that our toilet was leaking into their room, so we were left waiting while it was fixed. Food - We only ate very small amounts on site due to some negative reviews putting me off, but genuinely it all looked nice and plenty to choose from . The chairs in dining room are very worn and 100% do need recovering, but it was all kept very clean and the restaurant staff were lovely (especially the omelette chef). Pool - morning 1, water look clear and pool area was being throughly washed down. By the midday however the pools were now full of floating black bits (I assume mold from then edges I later had spotted) Splash Zone - first glance looked fun, then I notice the climbing black mold across the back wall. Kids Club - staff were very good and I felt safe to allow my kids in there for a short while, they drew pictures also played games in the baby pool. My children had great fun. Each night at 8:15pm they did music/dancing on stage and the kids all appeared to enjoy it. Location - fantastic! We loved being in the heart of it all, very close to beach, shops, bars, restaurants, anything you want it’s there, markets, zoos, water parks all under 15 minutes taxi which came exceptionally fast with a quick buzz from reception. Entertainment - seemed a good variety but we were in our rooms with little ones so didn’t actually get to partake. My only criticism is the microphones were exceptionally loud (in our pool view room). Even with doors closed and ear plugs in, I could hear every single word. Music was off by 11pm, but it’s just something to be aware of if you prefer quiet. Roof top - It seemed peaceful, and had great views, help yourself drinks for all inclusive guests, a toilet, plenty of sun beds, two hot tubs. Overall personally we couldn’t stay here again until the mold issues are rectified. It’s just such a shame as I think it’s a great location, with great staff and a lot to offer.

Location is excellent also had upgrade for a 65th birthday treat for my husband. The all inclusive was a big plus side. Poolside bar was refreshing it's food on a regular basis which was a lovely alternative from the dining room at lunch. The entertainment wasn't up to much money

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We honestly cannot thank Margot enough for how amazing she has been with our little boy, Harri. He is only 3 years old, and from the moment we met Margot, it was so clear how much she genuinely loves children. Margot has been absolutely incredible so loving, caring, kind and patient. You can see that everything she does comes from such a genuine place, and the way she interacts with the children is just beautiful. She has such a warm and caring nature, and Harri absolutely adored her. ❤️ It’s honestly so hard to put into words just how wonderful she has been. She has made such a lovely impression on both Harri and us, and we feel so lucky that he had someone like Margot looking out for him and making his time so special. People like Margot are truly what make a holiday even more memorable. She is such a kind and genuine woman, and we will honestly miss her so much! 🥹❤️ Thank you for everything, Margot. You really are amazing, and we will never forget you! 🌸✨

great hotel entertainer was amazing the staff was great proper laugh too Margot was a right enjoyment to the hoilday proper made it gold could not count at darts but was good deffo stay there again

Myself and my wife had stayed at this hotel before 10 years ago with the daughters and grand children. This time we thought go back and try it as a couple on our own. We had booked all inclusive a superior senator room with access tothe roof top area. The room on the 4th floor had a large balcony with two sun beds which we used on occasion, but there is access for people to walk through from the upper floors. The roof top area is not over crowded with people there is a small bar area, one toilet and two small jacuzzi pools. This area is quiet and no children are allowed, it could do with some attention. The room on the fourth floor large in area but lacking the some real touch the decor and furniture was not any different from the rest of the rooms on the floor just the large area of space on the balcony. The resturant food on offer but not very good either at 3 sittings each day, small resturant as you enter better by far so try it, the bar and food outside never tried it. The hotel try with enterainment in afternoon its pool and kids fare in the evening its the same again with adult act to end the evening did not see much of this. The A I package is there but if you wish a certain brand of drink you pay for that at the bar extra. To finish Tenerife did not let us down as usaal plenty of night life and good acts to see, and the sunshine was there very hot.
