Best Tenerife

Currently here, 1st time at the best, the whole entertainment team is fantastic, Billy and Ana you do an amazing job to keep everyone entertained

We originally booked two years ago as my wife had been several times as a teenager with her parents. So being one's not to do thing's by half's we then decided to turn our holiday into our....honeymoon. Our room upon arrival wasn't "quite ready".....hmmm. something to do with that the lovely staff had made it look so special for us. See picture. And we believe they upgraded our room which was just perfect.

Nice hotel, good location, food ok. Moved here from another hotel that was not as nice.

I wanted to take my daughter on our first holiday abroad together to Tenerife. Tenerife is a very special place to me as I used to go there with my late grandmother, we used to stay at the ‘Tenerife Princess’ (which is now the hotel best Tenerife) and I have to say the standards have sadly slipped! People rushing to reserve sun loungers when it’s still dark! Other hotel guests smoking we*d on their balcony & the ‘dress code’ for the dining room has completely gone out of the window! I even saw a lady come in the dining room in her pyjamas! Can’t fault the staff at all they were all helpful & pleasant, one of the waiters in the restaurant could see I had trouble walking & gave us a seat nearer to the food in the restaurant to save me walking too much which was helpful. We had a ‘superior’ room however the wardrobe door kept sticking, behind the bathroom door & round the frame was tatty, toilet wobbled when you sat on it. I was very surprised to see that the evening entertainment had now moved outside & that the large room which used to house the evening entertainment was empty (partly to store old mattresses) & sectioned off to make way for the huge demand for mobility scooter parking. The entertainment was quite loud which wasn’t a problem really but hearing baby shark every night got a bit boring. The location of the hotel is ideal, having stayed here a few times in the past I booked it for this reason as I knew my way around, shops next door were very handy too. All in all our stay was enjoyable and the staff were friendly, food was really nice with a different theme each night, plenty to choose from. My only complaint is about the pool, one day we had been in the pool & my daughter said I had a worm on my back & she had one on her arm, at the time we were sat near the rocks & had discovered a possible ants nest near our sun loungers, we thought there might have been some connection to that. We just shrugged it off & moved. On our last day while sat in reception we overheard a lady complaining about worms in the pool due to poor sanitation. We had planned to have pizza from the pool bar that day as we had checked out and were waiting for our connection coach. After my daughter heard about there being worms in the pool she was absolutely disgusted and would not eat from the bar. I saved up a lot of money to give my daughter the best first holiday & it just felt bog standard. And then to learn about the worms made it feel even worse!

Excellent staff ,create a lovely holiday atmosphere with their happy,smiley,nature....deffo returning next year 👍😎🌞🌞🌞
