Fantastic 11 days. Never had the same thing to eat apart from breakfast. Found all the staff friendly and helpful. Spent most time at infinity pool. Evening entertainment fantastic, could not fault. Hotel is a little worn but they are in the process of redoing rooms. Would definitely go again . If you want outside hotel all lights and English bars, this is not for you

Myself and my husband booked this as a last minute deal through TUi (VERY good deal) and paid the extra £50 for the premium room, which gave access to the adult only infinity pool and bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect but for 3 days of sunshine for my birthday I thought ‘why not?’ On arrival, yes the reception, bar and corridors are very dated (circa 1970s) but every where is clean and functional. My only niggle was none of the communal areas had air con and everywhere was HOT. That being said, there was lots of choice for food, it was warm (but if you want piping hot like me there was a microwave) drinks were good and all the staff were polite and helpful (bar one at the crepe station but I’d be annoyed making endless crepes on a hot afternoon too!) The adult infinity pool and bar was a little disappointing and it all felt too claustrophobic and a bit grubby, so only visited once for one drink and left. There are lots of alcoves away from the main pool area which were nice and as most families queue at silly o’clock to get by the pool, we got beds ok. Overall we’ve had a lovely stay, sad to go home after 3 days but I know I’d be bored if we’d stayed here any longer than 5 days. Would return for a quick getaway if the price was right. I think some of the reviews I’ve since seen are unfair, but as we had a premium room I can’t comment on how bad other people’s rooms may have been

Spent one night at this hotel and I think that was enough for my lifetime. We were placed on the Second Floor near the end of a very dingy and grubby corridor. The good point: the bed was surprisingly clean and comfy, a rare bright spot in a room that had clearly seen better decades. But the floor tiles were cracked, the AC was clogged with grime, the TV was hanging off the bracket (presumingly trying to escape), the light fixtures were rusted, and the bathroom ceiling panels were coming away. Think 'Benidorm' meets 'The Inbetweeners Movie', but with worse lighting. Forget a balcony or terrace. Opening that door revealed what can only be described as an en-suite shed, a sort of exterior greenhouse with a table and chairs (see the picture). I can honestly say I've never smelt something as utterly foul as this "balcony" in my life (like stale cigarette smoke and stagnant water - probably from the busted AC unit). It was so disgusting that despite the heat we slept with the door firmly closed. I cannot fathom how anyone can be expected to use this space to either sit or dry their towels/pool clothes. To be fair, this is clearly more budget digs dressed up in 4-star clothing. But that doesn't negate having a little bit of pride in the accommodation by cleaning out the AC units, the light fixtures and dirty fan, and generally giving the place a freshen-up. The fact that the staff were pleasant, the bed-linen was clean, and the water pressure was good is the only reason I've given the hotel 2 stars which I think is a very accurate and fair reflection.
