Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel

Excellent location, short walk to beach. and shops .Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms well maintained and clean, house keeping every day excellent standard. Good value for money. Slight noise due to renovations but this was addressed before we flew and did not effect us. Lots of amenities for all. Very good service from all staff.

I will try and get it all in because I rely heavily on Trip Advisor when booking a trip, We are a few days after arriving back from Paradise Park. Myself, my husband, 9 year old and 12 year old. We booked very last minute and arrived in the daytime. Now, I have to be honest and admit I did think we had made a mistake when we arrived, and I was kicking myself for not realising that 'fun lifestyle' meant it was full-on entertainment. As soon as I heard music blasting around the pool, I thought 'what have I done??'. BUT....after a day to acclimatise, the entertainment actually became my favourite thing about this hotel, and I would absolutely return for that reason. The entertainment team put on a number of events throughout the day around the family pool. If this isn't your thing, then no worries; you just go to the other pool where no music is played, and it's a lot more chilled. Essentially, you are getting the best of both worlds. Getting sunbeds was a problem but a lot more accessible than other hotels. A chain was put around the Family Pool until 9am. People queued up from 8.30 am'ish' to get a bed, and they went quite quickly. The good thing is, if you didn't manage to get a bed here, the other bigger pool opens at 10am with people queuing up from about 9.30am. Towels - we took 2 of our own and hired 2 from the spa. 10 euro deposit each which is refundable on return. If you want to swap the towel during your stay for a fresh on its 50 cents. Food - the food is so good. They do a different theme each night. My husband is gluten free because he has celiac disease (or coeliac) . At breakfast ask the waiter for 'gluten free' and they will bring you a basket of goodies with bread and cakes , cereal etc. They will take the bread and toast it in a separate toaster for you. All food is labelled with allergens. I have a (non-anaphylactic) allergy to nuts, and I felt very comfortable eating here. They have allergen menu's and a gluten free menu which you can order from at lunchtime the chef will prepare an evening meal for you. I presume they do this at lunchtime too if you order at breakfast, but my husband felt comfortable with the allergen labelling and ate from the buffet. (Those with a mild nut allergy just bear in mind they do two pizzas, margarita and another one which regularly had the nut symbol. When they had this, I would usually skip the utensils and just pick up a piece of the margarita by hand to minimise cross-contamination. I don't know what the nut was; I am presuming a pine nut for the sauce. Kids club - my 9 year old loved going. The team were great, especially Stephanie. Always smiling and making sure everyone is having a good time! All the entertainment team were; I just remember her specifically. The complex is very big. When you arrive make sure you take some time to have a look around. The second floor has sofas and a chill area, 1st floor has a spa, shop for gifts and a snack restaurant. If you come out of Paradise Park there is a 24 hour shop. This is a little pricey. If you instead, turn left and walk down the hill 2 minutes and there is a Supermarket open until 9.30pm. This is in a mall, and upstairs on the top floor is an arcade and also an outdoor 'jungle gym' for little kids. I think its open until 10.30am. Carry on down the hill to the beach and if you want to go to the market that is Sunday and Tuesday. You wont miss it if you just walk straight down the hill to the bottom. We got a taxi back up which was 3.50 euro but we could have waited for the free hotel shuttle that runs every 30 mins or hour (cant remember). Evening entertainment was great for the kids, we watched a magician, Abba tribute, a modern singers show and a Circus act. Before that is a kids mini disco each evening. On the first floor is more adult entertainment, usually singers and I think they had bingo on too. Our first night we just went to the couches on the 2nd floor and played cards and pool. My impression of this hotel is that there is something for everyone and only if you want it. If you want to chill in the adult-only areas you can, if you want to chill by the quieter pool you can. If you want to join in the fun and games at the family pool, you can do that too. We only had 1 negative experience and it was dealt with so quickly and easily that it was a non-issue. When we arrived, our apartment had signs of mould on the ceiling. I've been really poorly in the past from mould, and I am asthmatic, so that was a big no for me. We went to reception and showed them the pics, and there was no pushback at all. They found us an alternative room. They expressed it wasn't as modern as the one we were given, but you know what, we much preferred it. The second apartment was freshly painted but had the original dark wood furniture, and it felt very authentic holiday vibes. The room was clean and that's all that mattered. We would come back again and we were all sad to come home.

The hotel is a nice friendly hotel for family and friends. The pool and facilities are very good with many areas for families or adults only. The rooms are slightly dated, but clean and do the job for 1 week or so. The breakfast is average, but a wide selection, although the evening meal is disappointing, not with the selection but the quality. The restaurant is modern and clean. Will come again, but perhaps for bed and breakfast only. Thanks.

Just got back from a 10 night stay at this hotel - it was very clean, staff were amazing, food was fabulous. The adult only areas were a real bonus and there was plenty of entertainment to choose from.
