Parque Vacacional Eden

Very disappointing experience – definitely not what we expected from an all-inclusive Parque Vacacional Eden Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel was very dirty and the cleaning service was nowhere near the standard you would expect. When the cleaners came into the room, they did not properly clean the floors or sweep, and on several occasions they simply hung the same towels back up instead of replacing them. There was also no air conditioning, which made the room very uncomfortable, especially in the warm weather. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like something from the army. My wife’s mattress was noticeably lower than mine, and neither of us slept well. The food was by far one of the worst parts of the experience. We were served raw meat and undercooked potatoes, and much of the food was served cold. This was supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel, so we expected a much better standard of food and service. The drinks situation was also very disappointing. Despite paying for all-inclusive, the only drinks included were water and one type of beer. If you wanted something like Coke or other soft drinks, you had to pay extra. In reality, almost all drinks came at an additional cost, which completely defeats the purpose of booking all-inclusive. Overall, this hotel was nowhere near the standard we expected. The cleanliness, food, beds, lack of air conditioning and very limited all-inclusive drinks made the whole experience extremely disappointing. We would not return and would not recommend this hotel.

- Lovely clean, spacious room. Kettle, sink, fridge and oven in kitchen. - 2 good sized pools- managed to get Sunbeds on various days/ times with both pools having a bar/ shop. - Walk to seafront/ centre takes around 20 minutes but there is an hourly shuttle into the centre and back throughout the day. - Can be a little noisy at times when sleeping but isn’t too bad. - No air conditioning but you can hire 1 fan per room for around a 12 euro deposit. You can also hire irons for a deposit. - You can play mini golf for free and there is an 11 hole course. You can also play padel but it comes at a cost of 25 euros for 1 hour. - The main downside for us was the quality of the food. We had breakfast on 2 days and on both occasions food was of poor quality. On the second day we found mould on the butter in the buffet. When we brought this up to a member of staff they just took it and shrugged it off. No apology. - Overall the hotel is great and would recommend it but for self catering only.

A lovely hotel high up above the beautiful tow of Puerto de la Cruz, offering natural surroundings, beautiful flowers and additional amenities such as tennis court, large swimming pool, activities and a sauna for guests to enjoy. Rooms are clean, we stayed in the Esplanade Superior Studio with Balcony in the casita. A kitchenette was available with tea,coffee facilities for two drinks provided, the room has a working fridge and complimentary water was left on the table. Shower was large but slightly dated with some tape used around the window edge in the cubicle. There is no air conditioning we found this a little disappointing due to the 4 start rating and with having a child…. but thankfully we found ways to keep cool naturally and managed but I would suggest if you are not someone who can manage without this might create a problem!!!! Reception can offer fans if required but I know this can feel a little lacking especially with young children. With regard to the large pool I do wish there was a little pool or shallow side option for children which would have been great but the large pool served our family well and we enjoyed our time! Big shout out to the lifeguard on duty always offering help, very efficient and always monitoring the pool area which was great to see as a guest! Breakfast was a good spread with continental and cooked options on offer. Hot beverages, juices, flavoured water! We loved the fresh fruit options, pancakes and the quality for the cooked breakfast!

The hotel is amazing, greta atmosphere and the breakfast was nice. The walk to town is really nice and adventurous, only issue was walking back (which we done alot) but there is a bus you can catch to take you back up some parts of the day. Also Gave free Prosecco on my birthday which I appreciated alot.

Currently at this hotel - 2 adults and 2 teens. Nestled in lush greenery with an incredible volcano backdrop, the Eden offers a peaceful natural escape. We have a stunning front-row view of the volcano peak right from our balcony. It is a truly magical destination. Yes, the hotel is dated but the area, staff and location make up for it in so many ways. A shuttle is available all day to run you to the center which is only 20 minute walk. The 5th floor pool opens at 10am. There are plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Music and pool-side entertainment starts at 11am. A pool bar is also open selling drinks and ice cream. Reception staff are kind and polite. Nothing is ever too much trouble, including changing an entire bed for us on request. This is our second visit. Please ignore the bad reviews. This is a lovely hotel.
