San Giorgio

A lovely hotel. There were a good few things that had to be addressed initially but staff were very helpful on reception. WiFi not working in room - never sorted. If you’re in the River Suites with an iPhone you will likely never have access to WiFi in your room, we didn’t. Second key not working and had to ask twice to get it working. Towels and dressing gown smell dreadful of some kind of perfume that must be the washing product. We had to air them on the balcony airer because they made our skin smell of the product. TV remote not working,batteries corroded and had to get them changed. Jacuzzi plug wouldn’t release so had to call maintenance Breakfast very chaotic and no explanation re what was where etc and eating dinner was very expensive. We only did it on the first day until we sorted getting in to town. However, these are small things that didn’t spoil the holiday. Our suite had a fantastic wraparound balcony with views of the river and sea. We were so glad we brought our binoculars. It also had a shower and sauna and jacuzzi. The grounds had a pool that was never busy and loungers. We didn’t use the beach though there is one. The hotel will loan you bikes. We used their free shuttle service into town. And there is a ferry across the river. A relaxing great stay.

excellent hotel complex with variety of sports activities ( tennis, table tennis, football pitch, free yoga classes; kids playground). Green area, perfect beach and great food in the restaurant.

The location, the spaces (inside and outside) are world class. The updated rooms fantastic. Cleanliness tops! Food very good. Fantastic resort to spend a few days or a few weeks. Have gone there over the years since the 1980's. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at San Giorgio and in Caorle. It’s a super family hotel - nice pool, lots of sunbeds, very friendly staff, compact but comfortable rooms and a nice buffet breakfast. So all the things you need for a family holiday! We really appreciated the free bikes for getting into and around Caorle - which made it easy to eat out every evening. So this would be a 5* review if it wasn’t for: - Lunch in the poolside restaurant is mediocre and served with flimsy plastic cutlery. - You have to pay to replace your pool towels. So we had to choose between paying €8 each day - or use the same crusty towels. We were surprised and annoyed by this! So overall, we recommend Hotel San Giorgio and would definitely return… and if they stop charging for replacement towels then this would be a 5* review!

Hotel San Giorgio is our top choice in Caorle. The rooms are of exceptional quality, and the range of services is impressive. Whether it's table tennis, tennis courts, a swimming pool, beachfront access, or complimentary bicycles, there’s always something to enjoy. You’ll never be left wanting more! Highly recommended!
