Sometimes you book a property just hoping for the best but not waiting too much. The story begins when my previous reservation on a hotel in Venice was suddenly cancelled a few days before the trip. I was looking for something close to the train station and on the lower range for cost. This hotel showed up in my search and it has a few good reviews. So I went for it. And what a finding! It is about 100 meters away from the station but tucked in a small alley, so the noise is almost non-existent. It has very few rooms but the charming is evident in all the details. You feel like walking into a family home. I’ve got a room in the second floor (warning: there is no elevator) and it was absolutely adorable. Great decor, good space, a balcony, great bed, above average bathroom for the category… The service was spot on, and the included breakfast seems like it was cook by someone in your family. I would call it “a hidden gem” but it wouldn’t be just. It is truly a special place in Venice.

I went to Venice for a trip and spent the night in a hotel there, which was very nice because this hotel is very nice and their staff is so nice that till date I have not met such nice people in the whole of Italy and this hotel also had many advantages, it is very close to the railway station and boats, the trip to Venice became even better because of this hotel.

We were going to Venice, so we booked this hotel. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is wonderful. Everything is just so wonderful.💞💞❤️❤️💞

The location is convenient, 3 minutes from the train station. However, that's where the positives end. The room is dirty and unkempt. The ceiling is falling in. The trim around the bed is covered in dust and dirt. The closet is dirty. There's a spider in the bathroom. The curtains are gray. Living in a room on the first floor is unbearable. It's very noisy; you can hear sounds from inside the hotel and from the street. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is very loud. The refrigerator is also noisy. And it's very cold! I asked to change rooms, but they refused. This ruined my vacation! I don't recommend it :(

I am totally baffled by the two recent mostly negative reviews of this fine hotel, I can only assume the people complaining expected 5 star luxury while on a 3 star budget. We had 11 nights here in June 2026 and having previously had 7 other long term stays in Venice over the years I can safely say this was one of the best. From the moment we arrived the reception we received was just first class, the staff were so kind and helpful especially the girl with glasses and dark hair (I didn't catch her name but she was lovely and couldn't do enough for us) Yes the breakfast is basic and the room perhaps a bit faded but these are very minor issues and to those complaining I would suggest if you are expecting 5 star luxury then pay for it and book elsewhere. The location of this hotel is fantastic, very central but up an alleyway away from the noise so it's very peaceful. Overall we were very happy at this hotel and will seek to stay here again in 3 years time when we come back to Venice once more, we would recommend this place to anyone.
