Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort

Hotel highly overrated, very poor service, trashes can stay at the table on the beach for 4-5 hours without being picked up by the staff which leads to crows everywhere => not nice at all! Very dirty fridge in my room which was empty when it was supposed to be full as I was in all inclusive. Food very common and not tasty, very little choice and basically every day the same menu or quasi. Main areas are nice but it needs a lot of maintenance done. The staff is very friendly but not working which leads to a very poor service. This si absolutely NOT the standard of & 5 stars hotel, but let’s say 3 stars which still feels a bit too much for me I know many 3 stars hotels à Kenya and Tanzanie with a much better service. All in all I had a disappointing experience there and will definitely stick to my little boutique hotels like Asah Cottage or Water lovers in Diani for my next stay.

I’ve had an amazing stay, and my overall experience was truly incredible. A special shout out to the amazing staff, Mkumbi, Sophie, Lucy, Phelomena, Eric, and so many others. Each and every one of them left such a great impression on me. The fact that I still remember all their names says a lot about the level of care and hospitality they showed us. I was initially meant to stay for only two nights, but I ended up spending an entire week at the property with my business partner. That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and welcomed we felt. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Sam, the Sales & Marketing Manager, for his great sense of hospitality, professionalism, and excellent customer relations. I highly recommend this property, and a very special shout out to all the staff mentioned above. You guys rock! Beyond the beautiful property and the beach, it’s truly the people who became such an important part of our experience. Huge appreciation to the entire management team, from top to bottom, for creating such a strong vision of hospitality and ensuring that it is reflected throughout every level of the team. We’re already looking forward to coming back very soon! Easily one of the best resorts in Diani and honestly, one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had across the continent.

We have had such a wonderful holiday at Diamonds Leisure! A truly beautiful resort. We were so lucky and had a sea view room with stunning views. The food is lovely here, plenty of choices, catering for all cultures and tastes, with wonderful fresh fish, meat, fruit, vegetables and desserts! The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, and so well planned. The beautiful trees all have names on so that you can learn all the varieties of trees here. The monkeys are cheeky, and will steal food and rifle through bags left, to check for food! We forgot we had banana in our bags on our return from a day trip and were ambushed by monkeys at the pool 🤣The main selling point for this resort though, is the outstandingly wonderful nature of the staff. Every member of staff has been so polite, friendly, and nothing has been too much trouble for them. They are so helpful and informative, and we have absolutely loved chatting to them and getting to know them. All tips to staff are so gratefully received and in our opinion, so very well deserved! The staff here, especially the wonderful pool staff at the Bahari Pool have absolutely made our holiday 👏👏 The beach is stunning too, and the hotel is right on the beach. Thank you to everyone at Diamonds Leisure for a truly unforgettable and luxurious holiday

Stunning hotel and location. Spacious hotel rooms with comfortable bed and modern decor and fittings. Only critique for the bathroom is it needs better ventilation or an extractor fan as it gets quite hot and foggy. Food was delicious! We were on the all inclusive package and the variety was vast, something for every palate. enough options for vegans and vegetarians as well. Drinks were beautifully presented and always served with a smile. It didn't matter which bar you decided to enjoy, all staff and cocktails,milkshakes, non alcoholic beverages were amazing. The Coral Bar was a particular favourite as its built on the beach. Only negative here were the people selling tours and trinkets on the beach can become a bit of a nuisance when you're trying to enjoy the view and relax. Pride is taken in cleanliness throughout the resort. Evening entertainment was good and enjoyable for all ages. The staff were the highlight of this resort and a true asset. From the dining room to room cleaning to bars, staff were helpful, genuinely friendly and always a pleasure to engage with. The front desk staff could improve with checking in of guests (we were made to wait for 45minutes as they worked on our check in) and work on having the same energy the rest of the resort staff have. Overall a wonderful experience and we would stay at Diamonds Leisure and Golf if ever visiting Diani again
