Adaaran Select Meedhupparu

Our journey to Adaaran Select Meedhupparu commenced with a seaplane which was exhilarating flying over the Maldivian islands, and then we landed in paradise. We were met by Jasmine and a welcome group which instantly impresses on you that you are going to treated like VIP and that we were in abundance . Our beach villa was stunning waking up every morning to turquoise blue water, your own loungers, fresh beach towels and stunning views from your terrace. Though the villas were very comfortable, I do feel that the villas could benefit from a fresh lick of paint but apart from that the rooms were perfect, we loved the outdoor shower in the bathroom so tropical and which featured every possible convenience. Our stay on the island was pure indulgent luxury and so relaxing all your aches, ailments disappear you can do as much or as little as you want but the emphasis is on relaxation. The restaurants are fabulous with a large choice of menu’s, the main restaurant is very hot and busy, if you like quieter dining go later after 8.30pm. Our favourite was Cafe Maas on the beach front, my big shout out goes to Nadun he was the happiest, friendliest, smiliest and the staff member we had the most interaction with (but my hat goes off to the whole team and the chef), every night Nadun taught us even more Sinhalese which he thoroughly enjoyed engaging in, another staff member is Chathu who was also very friendly and smiley. The snorkelling was particulary awesome especially by the jetty, out of this world fish of all size colour and variety and you can use the islands gear. One of the evening we participated in Bingo at the main bar and I was lucky to win a back massage at Mandarin Spa which was outstanding from the reception to the masseuse so much attention to detail and making the experience unforgettable. My last shout out is to Jasmine who literally smiles all the time and NOTHING is too much trouble and is always on hand if needed, but I must emphasis every single member of staff are outstanding and have one goal to make your stay memorable which they excel in, and which is why I did not want to leave and would stay here in a heartbeat if I could. Our family of 5 stayed at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu for 7 nights and we absolutely adored our time here. From the moment we stepped off the sea plane, we were greeted with friendly faces and the beautiful landscape of the island. Special mention for Jasmine who was so welcoming and took us for a tour of the island. Throughout our stay she was always so smiley and she regularly checked in with us when we bumped into each other. The atmosphere of the island is everything you would imagine the Maldives to be like - calm, relaxing, tranquil. The beaches were amazing with white sand and the sea was crystal clear and thriving with life. Snorkelling around the island was amazing and we saw so much marine life. The food was always outstanding and very tasty. A special mention for Nadun at cafe mass as he was so friendly, attentive and professional. He taught us some Sinhalese words from his home country of Sri Lanka, and also shared casual conversations aswell. He made our dining experience a pleasure. Stayed at Adaaran Select MeddHupparu for a week and it was the best experience I’ve had. The location was unreal with clear waters perfect for snorkelling with the corals enabling you to see all variety’s of fish’s and little sharks, the rooms were perfect conditions and amazing service. Additionally, a fantastic selection of foods and cocktails ranging from 101 cocktails! The staff here are all friendly, welcoming and accommodating, especially Nadun who works in cafe mass, who’s always greeting everyone with a smile on his face, enthusiastic to talk to us and teach us the local language, making our family feel welcome and at home. Aswell a big shoutout to Chthu who also works at cafe mass who is welcoming, happy and talkative.

Our stay at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel at home straight away. The island itself is stunning, with pristine white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, and beautiful weather that perfectly captures everything you imagine when thinking of the Maldives. Whether you want to relax by the beach, explore the island, or enjoy the many activities available, there is something for everyone. The rooms were exceptional, spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and the attention to detail across the resort was evident everywhere you looked. The overall cleanliness of the island, restaurants, public areas, and accommodation was outstanding and contributed greatly to the relaxing atmosphere. The food throughout our stay was excellent, with an impressive variety of dishes available every day. The menu choices catered to all tastes, and every meal offered something new to try. The quality and freshness of the food were consistently outstanding, making dining one of the highlights of our holiday. One of the absolute must do activities is snorkelling. The marine life surrounding the island is breathtaking, with an incredible abundance of fish and other wildlife visible just a short distance from the shore. Every snorkelling trip felt like swimming in a natural aquarium, and it quickly became one of our favourite parts of the holiday. The range of activities available means there is always something to do, whether you are looking for adventure or simply want to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the island. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had the best possible experience. A special mention must go to Jasmine, who greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. From the moment we stepped off the plane, she was incredibly friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with any questions or requests we had. Her kindness and professionalism played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable from day one. Another special mention goes to Nadun at Café Mass. His service standards are exceptional, and he was always welcoming, friendly, and ready for a chat. Whether discussing Maldivian culture, local activities, the language, or simply sharing a friendly conversation, he always greeted us with a smile and made every visit to Café Mass a pleasure. He is a real credit to the resort and helped make our experience even more memorable. Despite some construction work taking place behind the spa area during our visit, the resort managed the situation exceptionally well. The staff clearly made every effort to ensure guests were not disturbed, and the overall atmosphere remained peaceful and relaxing both during the day and at night. It is a testament to the professionalism of the team that our holiday experience was never affected. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the quality of the accommodation, food, facilities, activities, and service provided throughout our stay. Every aspect of the resort exceeded our expectations and made us feel that we had chosen the perfect destination for our holiday. Overall, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu exceeded our expectations in every way. The beautiful beaches, fantastic food, amazing wildlife, exceptional rooms, outstanding cleanliness, excellent activities, and first class staff combined to create an unforgettable holiday. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a true Maldivian paradise and cannot wait to return.
