What an amazing place! The food was amazing, the deluxe beach villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our young man Layan who came to clean every day was so polite and efficient. He is such a kind young man. The view was spectacular especially the sunset. The beaches were clean, the amazing young man that worked so hard around the beach every morning. I had 2 massages from Vivin at the Mandarin Spa, wow!, she was so professional and the massages helped my back so much! Thank you! Nadum ? At Mass Cafe also amazing. He was attentive, very helpful as we were planning our next trip to Sri Lanka. You should be very proud of your staff. Thank you making this an amazing holiday. We will definitely be back!

Just browsing photos of our trip last year and then realised we hadn’t posted a review. We stayed at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu in early March for 10 glorious days in a water villa, and it was everything we hoped for and then some. The island itself is beautiful — that proper desert‑island feeling — with quiet corners to switch off and the kind of sunsets that make you wish for a better camera than your phone. Researching islands in the Maldives felt like a big undertaking due to how many different resorts there are and as this trip was for my wife’s 40th, I wanted tick all the boxes, with snorkelling being a big priority. I have to say that the house reef was the standout. Crystal‑clear water, loads of life, and easy access from the villa meant we were in for a snorkel pretty much every day. It became our favourite rhythm: breakfast, fins on, then back for a lounge on the deck. I opted for the seaplane transfer from Male which took about 40 mins and flying above the atolls gives a different perspective. After landing we were whisked away in a golf cart to the water villa reception for drinks and refreshing cold towels while we checked-in. The water villa itself is large, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Everyday there is a turn-down service and they would leave chocolates while we were at dinner which was a lovely touch. The dedicated water‑villa restaurant felt like fine dining without any fuss. Plenty of choice, consistently good plates and attentive staff. Alfresco dining was the showstopper however — a gorgeous spot on the corner of the island affording uninterrupted views to the horizon where you can watch the seaplanes come in to land, or spot manta rays and other sealife gliding past with surprising regularity. A pretty unforgettable way to start the day so our firm favourite for breakfast, even if we went elsewhere for lunch/dinner. Our second favourite dining spot was the Indian restaurant - such a huge array of choice, all of which were delicious, with the head chef regularly in attendance (and often getting me to try amazing new things). We probably under‑utilised our butler, Niyaz. When I did engage he was helpful and things got sorted quickly; if I’m being picky, he wasn’t quite as enthusiastically proactive as some butlers I’d read about beforehand. Not a deal‑breaker — we still had an amazing time — but worth mentioning for balance. Overall, we came for rest and reef time and left completely recharged. Beautiful island, comfortable water villa, relaxed service and a reef you’ll want to revisit daily. Would we return? Absolutely.

Absolutely loved our trip here. Wanted to go to the Maldives for years and it is like paradise, beautiful island with lovely friendly people, especially Apoorva and Nadseer behind the pool bar. Came for my 60th birthday. Villas are big and air conditioning just very comfortable and equipped, cleaned regularly, 4 restaurants,great choice of food. Lovely quiet, tranquil place. Trip to Manta Ray's was amazing. Loved everything about the place.Thankyou so much for an amazing visit. Tina and Paul Hudson ❤ xx

Sunset bar with Pathum bartender is by far the most relaxant and cozy experience to spend time when days are to hot and for sunset view also. We spend a lot of time with him, he is very friendly and kind with all the people. Honored that we met and for connections that we bring. See you next time, the best island bartender

The hotel is located on a great island with a nice reef around where you can go swimming and snorkeling. We were welcomed by Jasmine who showed us around the island. We’d like to point out that she did everything to make our stay memorable. Most of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Some were a bit grumpy and one woman at the reception was very arrogant and unfriendly. The staff took care of the walkways every morning and removed the fallen leaves. The use of snorkeling equipment for the whole stay as well as Kayak/SUP for one hour once a day are free of charge. The SUPs we rented were a bit decrepit already. There are different restaurants and bars around the island with a vast choice of food and drinks of great quality. However, the staff tried to sell special - and very expensive (eg. “Gabion Dinner for $250 per couple or floating Moët BBQ for $385 per couple) - dining experiences everytime we sat in the bar. That was the same for the staff at water sports. The Beach Villa was located directly at the beach and was very spatious with an outside shower. Due to the resort being only partly occupied it was really very quiet at the beach and also at the pool. The amenities were satisfactory and the housekeeping did a great job. They even came to take care of our room twice a day. The mini bar was free of charge and was refilled once a day. The Beach Villas are a bit run down already and probably need to be renovated. The resort pool was great: nice views and a poolbar which we really enjoyed. We can imagine that it can get very crowded if the resort is fully booked because the sun beds were occupied almost every day with just 40% of occupancy in the resort. The transfer to the resort by domestic flight and speedboat was exhausting - we had to wait in the heat of the airport for 3h until we could boars the domestic flight. When we landed in Dharavandhoo we waited for almost another hour for the speedboat. Because of that we booked an upgrade to seaplane for $190 per person to go back to Malé which we would recommend to everyone. For the last few days we upgraded to a Water Villa which was a great experience. Clovie, our butler, and Nahid of the service staff at the restaurant did a great job and made our stay special. The food was exceptionally good and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was brought to our villa in the morning. Apart from the private areas for the Water Villas, guests can use all the facilities of the islans as well. It was really quiet and relaxing in the private area compared to the restaurant with the international buffet or pool.
