Awesome Service at the Sunset Bar from Pethum. The drinks were amazing.

We have stayed here for a week and it has been paradise. The food is great choice fantastic staff incredible especially Nazim who has lookedafter us all week. Everybody has been attentive however a bit of a frosty reception at the reception desk. I have to add that we our key. It was entirely our fault and we found it however we had asked if we could get a replacement if lost and they wanted tocharge us $100 which is scandalous. They’re taking advantage of our good nature being on holiday and having no choice. Also, sun cream was like £30. Theproperty was lovely very rustic and right near the Beech could not fault it however a little bit tired and the beds were very basic. Thiswould not be what I call a select five star accommodation we have stayed in much better places meaning the accommodation not the actual destination. The beds were two single beds pushed together and we are couple very basic very dirty underneath as we had to lift it to look for the key. This may sound like we’ve been very critical butwe paid a lot of money for this holiday and we would’ve expected more. As they say I don’t want to put people off because it is paradise and we have had a lovely time, but ifthey’re going to advertise it as a select four or five star accommodation, it needs to be four or five stars.

We were accommodated in cottage number 281. This part has the most beautiful entrance to the ocean and in my opinion has the best location on the island. All the hotel staff were very nice, but I was surprised by the attitude of the cleaning service. It was enough to emphasize only once that we need to constantly replenish the soap, because we wash ourselves several times during the day and I never had to remind myself. Everything was perfectly prepared. The most helpful person and the most communicative was Pethum in the SunSet bar, where he was interested in describing the beauties of his native country and was always helpful in everything. His attitude is very professional and friendly. I firmly believe that one day he will be the hotel manager.
