We just returned from a fantastic stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives in September 2026 and cannot stop raving about it! What a beautiful island — perfect white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise lagoon, lush greenery and such a relaxing, positive vibe. But what truly made our holiday unforgettable was the PEOPLE. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Front Office & Management: A very warm welcome by Nipuni, Kasun, Ren, Unno — super helpful, always smiling, and sorted everything instantly. A special mention to GM Marlon for leading such a wonderful team and making guests feel so valued. Also a big thank you to the Boat Crew for the Dolphin Watching Trip — what an amazing experience, we were lucky to see so many dolphins! Restaurant & Bar:Absolute highlight! Food was outstanding with great variety every day. Huge thanks to Manoj, Ruth, Ahmed, Hiruni, Jacky, Aaish, Zaid, Suraj, Lahiru, Mahesh for their impeccable service and ever-smiling hospitality. They remembered our preferences, made great recommendations and always went the extra mile. Kudos to managers Neranjan and Nuwan for running the operations so perfectly. Kitchen: The chefs deserve a standing ovation. Delicious food, fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. Thank you to Chef Sanjeewa, Saha, Imesh, Ruwan, Lasantha and the entire kitchen team — you made every meal a celebration. Housekeeping: Our room was spotless every day and beautifully maintained. Thank you Zakir for your dedication and attention to detail. Cinnamon Dhonveli has the perfect balance of Maldivian tranquility and fun activities — snorkeling, water sports, great bars and lovely sunset views. We left with beautiful memories and a promise to return. Highly recommended for couples, friends and families. Thank you Dhonveli family for making our Maldives dream come true!

One Last Evening in Paradise 🌴💙 Tonight is our last evening here, and tomorrow we sadly leave this beautiful island. Looking back at these days, we can honestly say that this has been such a special escape from everyday life. Our water villa, the beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, sunsets, sunrises and the relaxed island atmosphere have made every day feel special. We have loved watching the surfers from the beach and simply enjoying the slower pace of life here. A very special thank you to the wonderful team at Dalchini Restaurant, especially Bhagya and Zareer, who took such great care of us. They also helped create a beautiful surprise for my husband's birthday, which made the evening even more special. ❤️🎂 A big thank you as well to General Manager Marlon, Mira from Reception, Sattar, Rafiqul and Moklesh, and the entire team for being so kind, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We have also loved discovering the Sri Lankan and Maldivian flavours here, and the food has been such an enjoyable part of the experience at Yumna kitchen. And one completely unexpected thing we absolutely have to mention: the staff here smell AMAZING! 😂 We have travelled to many places and have genuinely never noticed this before. Even the team working outside in the heat and sun somehow smells so fresh and lovely. We honestly don't know what shower gels, perfumes or magic you are using, but whatever it is, please never change it! 😂 Tomorrow we leave, but we will definitely be taking many beautiful memories with us.
