Eri Maldives

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! We had four massages in a row, and honestly, each one was even better than the last. From the moment we arrived, Arini, Widya annd Susi were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional, and they made us feel truly taken care of. A special mention to Susi, who was my massage therapist, she was absolutely fantastic! Thank you to the whole team for the amazing hospitality and for making our experience so special.

This was my third stay at Eri Maldives, and after spending 19 nights here, I can honestly say I wished I could have stayed even longer. Eri is now under new management, and it is absolutely punching above its weight. While it is a 4-star resort, the level of service, care and facilities I experienced felt very much like 5-star hospitality. I travelled alone, and from the moment I arrived, I always felt completely safe, welcomed, respected and genuinely looked after. What makes Eri special is not just the beautiful island or the gorgeous reef — it is the people. The entire team consistently went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and cared for. From the moment I landed As soon as I arrived at the airport, I was warmly greeted by the Eri representative, who was kind, welcoming and explained everything clearly, including how long I would need to wait. It wasn’t long at all before I was taken to the speedboat. The boat crew were wonderful. They settled me in, made sure I had a comfortable seat where the journey would be less bumpy, and provided cool water. On arrival at Eri, I was warmly welcomed by the team, everything was explained to me, and there was no unnecessary waiting around — I was taken straight to my Beach Villa. I had requested a particular room, and the team kindly made sure I received it. The villa was gorgeous — bright, modern, fresh and beautifully maintained, with great air conditioning, solar panels and drinking water provided in glass bottles. My room was cleaned impeccably every day, with fresh bath and beach towels provided daily. The housekeeping team did a brilliant job. The food and service The food throughout my stay was consistently fresh, varied and delicious. There was something for everyone, with Italian, Chinese, Maldivian, Indian and other choices, and the quality was always excellent. On my final night, Chef and Noor went above and beyond and arranged an outdoor table just for me, under the moonlight. It was absolutely beautiful. I was then treated to a special seafood dinner as a gift — and it was absolutely delicious. It was such a thoughtful and touching way to end my stay, and something I will remember for a very long time. The restaurant team — Noor, Nuzufa, Ali and the others — were always attentive, friendly and genuinely interested in making sure I was happy. Chef and his team were always ready to accommodate requests with a big smile. The bar staff were fantastic too. They were always smiling, interacting with me and making wonderful cocktails. Everyone made me feel welcome rather than simply being another guest. The little things that meant so much The front desk and administration team were absolutely amazing. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. At one point, I got sand in my phone and could no longer charge it. The team arranged for a magnetic charger to be sent from Malé, and it arrived the very next day. When I offered to pay for the trouble of organising it, they asked for nothing more than the cost of the charger itself. That generosity and kindness really touched me. Thank you, Abdul, Hassan, Mel and the whole team. And then came my final day. My flight from Malé wasn't until 10pm, so the team arranged for me to take the last boat at 5pm. They allowed me to stay in my room until 4pm and provided me with both breakfast and lunch. They absolutely did not have to do this, but they did — simply because they wanted to make my last day as comfortable as possible. While I was waiting, Abdul brought me a coconut with my name engraved on it, along with a letter from the team thanking me. Honestly, these are the things you remember. The spa and the reef The spa is wonderful and very reasonably priced. I had four massages with Susie, and they were divine. Thank you, Susie! And then, of course, there is the reef. ❤️ The reef around Eri is gorgeous, and I snorkelled every single day. There is so much beauty both above and below the water, and I never tired of exploring it. Thank you, Eri ❤️ Every member of the Eri team — including the wonderful people cleaning and caring for the beaches — was friendly, welcoming and always ready with a smile. I haven't been able to mention everyone's names, but please know that every single one of you is appreciated. You each played a part in making my 19-night stay so special and, ultimately, unforgettable. Eri team, you are wonderful, kind, funny, respectful and incredibly caring, and you should be very proud of yourselves. This was my third visit, but it certainly won't be my last. I'm already returning next year. We came to the Maldives to celebrate 10 years of friendship, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Eri Resort. From the moment we arrived, we had an incredible experience. Eri Resort is such a beautiful, modern and relaxing little island. Despite being small, there is so much to enjoy and discover. The beautiful beach, the amazing reef and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The room was very quiet, clean, modern and homey. Also the food was varied and amazing! What truly made our stay special, was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, always with a smile and genuine warmth. A very special thank you to: Ijlal, our server at breakfast, lunch and dinner Mainuddin, Our room attendant Adu, Assistant Front Office Manager Haidar and crew from lucky dolphin cruise Hirusha, Darshan, Kyipyar, Abdulla, the bartenders Sadly, we don’t know everyone’s names, but we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Eri Resort who contributed to making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories, full hearts and already a little wish to come back.

We had an amazing time with our little one year old. The Atholl is amazing and the facilities first class. The room was spacious, new, modern and very clean. Surey looked after our little family at meal times and did everything he could to make our little boy happy and finally got a wave on the last day 😂. Hirusha, Iman and the other bar made some great Cappuccino and the cocktails were very refreshing. The reef is spectacular too! Would wholly recommend. We were very lucky with the weather for this time of year and the trip was very well organised by luxury escapes from beginning to end

August 2026 It was our first time in the Maldives. We wanted to wait until our child (9 years old) was at the right age to handle and, above all, fully appreciate a trip and a vacation of this kind. Before choosing Eri, we did extensive research. Our main premise was that, despite traveling with a child, we absolutely did not want an overly luxurious, crowded, or noisy resort, especially one with unwelcome entertainment activities. In fact, we believed that the most important thing was to enjoy the wonders that nature offers in these places, without superfluous distractions and awkward entertainment. Fortunately, we made the right choice, and Eri is truly all of this.Tranquility, silence, discretion, polite staff, and, above all, respectful tourism. I believe this is mainly because the clientele is mostly international and the people who choose Eri are looking for exactly what we were looking for—meaning they are also reluctant to the idea of being in the Maldives and having to endure loud pool games or other out-of-place activities.The place has been recently renovated, and it shows. The rooms are perfect, and their layout allows for good privacy. The sand-floor restaurant lets you dine barefoot or in flip-flops. The menu is very varied and absolutely positive.As for the beach and sea, the atoll is perfect, especially with a child. After a short sandy stretch of shallow water, the reef starts immediately. Some parts of the reef are a bit damaged, likely a consequence of the recent resort renovation works, but it still looks healthy and vibrant. The richness of the reef truly allows you to see all kinds of creatures with ease. In addition to wonderful colorful fish, we saw turtles, manta rays, eagle rays, and sharks of various sizes. Towards evening, even the larger ones arrive, and encountering them is a thrill, just like the huge jackfish that come close at reef. This makes it almost pointless to spend money on excursions that take you to see the exact same things in other locations.We invested our money in fishing instead, which my son loves. We tried both sunset fishing, which is highly recommended, and deep-sea fishing (big game fishing), which we recommend less. However, we might have just been unlucky, especially with the weather, rain, and a very, too rough sea. Considering the high cost of the experience, something more exciting should be guaranteed; otherwise, it just becomes a boat trip with a 5:00 AM wake-up call that costs as much as a flight. Our reference staff, Malati at the reception and Noorey at the restaurant, were truly very attentive and kind to us, and especially to our son. Noorey is a man with a gentle look and manners, a person of few words but always the right ones. Discreet and efficient, he managed to make us feel at home rather than just guests. On our last day, he made two animals for our son (a fish and a praying mantis) using only palm leaves. A precious memory that our child will carefully cherish.We also had the opportunity to meet really interesting and pleasant people of various nationalities, with whom we shared exciting moments, both in and out of the water.In short, it was a truly beautiful experience that met and, in some ways, exceeded our already high expectations.
