Jawakara Islands Maldives

We had a wonderful time here during our honeymoon. Special thanks to Chamoda, who helped us with restaurant reservations and various arrangements throughout our stay. The room was cleaned thoroughly twice a day. The staff at the massage salon provided very effective massages, for which we also extend our sincere thanks.

First time in the Maldives, Jawakara was a 10/10 experience. Our host Iru was amazing and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Jawakara was absolutely beautiful. We had so much fun on the island. There were so many options of activities to do, we loved fishing, scuba diving, the spa, and all the nightly events at the bars. For the price I feel like we got our value out of it. The rooms were nice, beautiful view and having the pool and ability to snorkel out of our room was so nice. Our concierge Mohammed was also so friendly and willing to answer every question we had or help us with what we needed. There is tons of staff and always someone there for whatever you may need. Not only was Mohammed great, but Roma at the bar was such a highlight of every evening. Incredible service and fun conversation. The rooms were always clean, turned twice a day and always had people asking if we needed anything. The only downside to our trip was when we first arrived they upgraded us to the dheru side from the Mabin water villa we originally booked (which we purposely booked due to central location and ability to snorkel from our villa). At first they informed me they could not move us back to our original room and I was very upset. It was rectified and I am grateful for that. However, I would recommend in the future asking guests prior to randomly “upgrading them” to a different island. We really loved our time and hope to be back again!

An absolutely fabulous stay at Jawakara - Dheru. We arrived by seaplane to be met on the jetty by our host Begaiym. There was no messing about we took to the buggy and was given an island tour before being shown to our villa. Once in the villa Begaiym walked us around detailing where things were eg safety deposit, hairdryer, iron etc. Begaiym also went through the app & itinerary with us and advised she’d booked various things for us which could be changed if timings/days didn’t work for us. The attentive service we received from Begaiym was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. We received a schedule each morning and she was always on hand for any questions. She really did look after us we couldn’t have asked for better service. The buffet restaurant on Dheru was fabulous. Indoor & outdoor seating was available. The good was fabulous. Lots of choice & always hot. The chefs were excellent and so friendly. Big shout out to Mani. Always smiling and he made great omelettes. The restaurant staff were so attentive and always made a fuss and took time to chat. They work so hard, it is all very well organised. They soon get to know your favourite drinks. Special mention to Olivia, Rahul, Kali, Youbraj, Ganga, Mango, Rashmi & Malika. You really did made it so enjoyable & became great friends. The Thila bar is great day or night, plenty of drinks to choose from and they will happily make a cocktail that isn’t listed. Always had great service. The al la carte restaurants made a nice change and we had 2 lunches & 2 dinners included in our all inclusive package. We ate at Hideout for lunch. Great views overlooking the golf course & Taha made great recommendations - the steak was delicious. We went to Molo one evening for my husbands birthday and they made such a fuss. Begaiym also came to see us whilst there which was a lovely touch. Our second evening meal was at Umi. Such a beautiful setting sat midway on the bridge. Zayan’s attention to detail on the menu was very helpful. Should you want to exercise whilst away there on 2 gyms. A smaller one on Dheru & a larger 2 storey one on Mabin. Both are excellent. Plenty of equipment & free weights. Fully air conditioned as well. Housekeeping, we could not fault. Ram always looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. We always came back to clever designs with towels on the bed or sand drawings on the floor. Such a nice touch. Amar always looked after the outside of the villa well. The dive centre … My husband is a qualified diver so this is his perspective I did 13 dives with Pro Divers and everything about it was an amazing experience. Big thanks to all my guides . Alsan , Brandon , Emma , James , Daniel and Andreia who led me on a great Chanel dive to Meyya Kandu . Also to Alhas who looked after my kit during my diving A great team who I thoroughly enjoyed diving with . We had such a great time and would we go back….absolutely. A fabulous island with the most amazing staff. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend 10/10

I had an amazing experience at Jawakara Maldives. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The island is stunning, with crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and beautifully maintained facilities. The villas were spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering spectacular ocean views. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit different tastes. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including snorkelling, water sports, and relaxing by the beach. What truly made the stay memorable was the exceptional service. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jawakara Maldives to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious island getaway. I would definitely love to visit again!
