Jawakara Islands Maldives

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on this beautiful island in the Maldives. Everything was simply perfect — from the stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We stayed in Dheru, which was a wonderful experience. The entire island is beautifully maintained, clean and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. The food was absolutely outstanding — always fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality. A special thank you goes to the incredibly kind gentlemen at the fruit stand and at the egg station in the morning or live cooking in the evening. They were always so friendly and cheerful, and the freshly prepared eggs were the perfect way to start the day. We think they had one of the most demanding jobs there, and they did it wonderfully. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Rashmi, who always welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home from the very beginning. Her kindness and genuine warmth made our stay even more special. We will miss her very much and are already looking forward to seeing her again! And a huge thank you to Imaadh, who prepared our room beautifully every single day. Everything was always immaculate, thoughtful and perfectly arranged. His attention to detail and care truly made a difference and was very much appreciated. Last but certainly not least, we would like to thank the two brothers, whose names we unfortunately can’t remember who gave us such a wonderful day out on the speedboat, including swimming with sharks and filming turtles. Thank you for this amazing excursion — you did a fantastic job, and we will always remember this wonderful day. We would also like to thank the management and the entire team for keeping the island in such wonderful condition and making everything run so smoothly. A special thank you as well for arranging for our two water villas to be next to each other and the lovely welcome with a bottle of champagne — we really appreciated it. Overall, this is a little paradise. We felt so welcome and well looked after throughout our stay and would absolutely love to come back again.

We arrived at the hotel in mid-September for a little over a week-long holiday. We chose the hotel mainly because of the guest reviews and photos on Tripadvisor. The seaplane transfer from Malé airport went smoothly (the lounge was available to us at no additional cost). When we arrived at the hotel at around 11:00 AM, our friends already had their room (Beach Pool Villa) prepared, while we had to wait around an hour for ours (Water Pool Villa). However, we were welcomed very warmly, and our host made sure we had all the necessary information. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped — there really isn't much to complain about. Perhaps the only minor issue we noticed was a slightly warped wooden floor, presumably due to the humidity. I would expect this in an overwater villa anyway, so it wasn't really an inconvenience for us. The minibar is well stocked and replenished daily. There is a good selection of both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. With our all-inclusive package, everything in the room was replenished and included at no additional cost. The food is varied and very tasty. I definitely can't complain, as we had plenty of choice at every meal and everyone was happy. The only downside, in my opinion, was the relatively poor quality of the cold cuts, but that may simply be a matter of personal preference. Despite this, I certainly wouldn't rate the overall quality of the food poorly. We regularly used the driving range as one of the additional activities, which was a nice change of pace. Nothing particularly special, but it was nice to have the opportunity to enjoy this kind of activity. The only downside was the relatively small number of balls available (I believe there were around 30), although the staff were very friendly. We also took one trip to the House Reef, but in our opinion it wasn't really worth the time. There is already an abundance of marine life visible around the hotel itself. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, including paddleboarding, tennis and water sports, with some of them included in the all-inclusive package at no additional cost. I also noticed that the prices quoted already included taxes. This was a pleasant surprise — the amount I had to pay wasn't increased by additional taxes; the price of the activity already included them. Our host, Rojiila, was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay and absolutely indispensable. A huge thank you to her — we highly recommend her!

Since the beggining until the last minute, they make us feel Incredible. Our island host, Bijay, always trying to keep our requests attended. He made reservations for everything we had included and we hadn’t worry about anything. The villa was amazing, the cleaning too. All the staff are very welcoming and worried to make you feel good. They have bicycles in every room and a buggy “táxi” service around the island and upon request. One of the best experiences of our life, soon to comeback.
