NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort

This is our fourth visit to Reethi and our first since the renovations - it did not disappoint. The beautiful new infinity pool in front of the main bar is an excellent addition. The villas are beautifully renovated as are the bars and restaurants. The main reason for such a wonderful holiday in a beautiful resort are without a doubt the staff. They work so hard to ensure you have the most wonderful experience! Whilst we don't really want to single out individual staff (because they are all wonderful!), we would like to send special thanks to Sandeep, Jotish and the team in the bars and Gorenng, Bharati, Majid, Suraj and all of the staff in the restaurants and kitchens - the food and service is excellent! You all made our holiday superb! Special thanks also to Kiki - our little Greek Goddess! You make everything just perfect - many thanks. Many thanks to the Reethi Management and to everyone we haven't mentioned i.e. room staff, gardeners, beach staff etc, (apologies!), you are all amazing! For anyone thinking about going to Reethi - please book! You won't be disappointed! It is a beautiful island with a stunning reef to explore and much much more - and don't forget the excursions to see Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, Turtles, Dolphins etc! We hope to return soon! We returned to Reethi Beach in early July after 25 years, our first visit had been for our honeymoon, and had the most amazing time. The island was as wonderful as we remembered with a luxurious resort development built sympathetically on the beautiful island. The incredible house reef was just as good as we remembered so that you could wander out of your bungalow into warm seas and were enjoying teeming corals instantly. We saw so many different types of tropical fish I cannot list them all, beautiful colours flashed in the sun and we were treated to fly by’s from turtles, eagle and sting rays and reef sharks. We took the snorkelling trip to Hanifaru Bay whilst we were there and were also lucky to see many Manta Rays. The staff on the island could not do enough for us and we felt we were truly spoilt rotten by these wonderful people. I was embarrassed to have dietary requirements but they put me at ease straightaway and were super helpful preparing dishes to meet my needs. We are mostly in the main restaurant and the food was delicious and the staff most attentive. It was our 25th wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they laid a special table for us decorated with leaf art and beautiful flowers. The leaf art was also displayed by our lovely room attendant who kept our room spotlessly clean, visiting the room twice a day whilst we were out in the morning and at dinner in the evening. We were totally relaxed settling into a lovely routine of snorkelling, sunbathing and dining. Each evening we visited the sunset bar where the lovely barman served us with cold beers and delicious cocktails whilst we watched the sun setting, the hermit crabs scuttling across the sand and the heron fishing on the point. NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort Our holiday from 26 august to 3 september I had the pleasure of staying at NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort , . The resort opened in December 2025 following a complete renovation. The island has a beautiful and authentic Maldivian atmosphere, with lush vegetation and a fantastic house reef. Its location in Baa Atoll is also ideal for experiences such as manta ray excursions to Hanifaru Bay. We were lucky enough to see a whale shark during our stay. I also really enjoyed the fishing experience, especially as our catch was later prepared by the chef. The villas are spacious, comfortable and well furnished, with a discreet and elegant style. All the rooms are located along one side of the island, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, which gives the resort a very pleasant feeling of space. The food was definitely one of the things that impressed us most. The quality was well above our expectations, with beautifully prepared dishes and some truly gourmet dinners. The level of cooking is very high, with great attention to detail. There are different stations offering a wide variety of dishes, from starters to desserts. The buffet is rich and varied, with colourful dishes, salads, sauces, condiments, spices and many different ingredients. Everything is well organised and carefully presented, and you can really see the attention the chefs put into the food. Guests can also speak directly with the Executive Chef or the restaurant team and request something special. The chefs are very attentive and happy to accommodate individual requests, which makes the dining experience very personal. As a coeliac, I particularly appreciated the awareness and care shown by the chefs and restaurant staff. Of course, complete protection from cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed, as in any restaurant, but the attention given to coeliac guests was excellent. I would especially like to thank Kiki for her warm welcome, care and attention throughout our stay, and Alessandro, Executive Chef, together with the Head Chef, the entire kitchen team and all the restaurant staff. The waiters and service team were always attentive, professional and welcoming. I also really enjoyed Kaiyo, the overwater Asian restaurant, and the dining experience throughout the resort. As a Maldives travel specialist, and also considering a holiday with my own family, I would feel very comfortable recommending NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort to my clients, friends and family.

Had a really great family holiday here recently. First thing to mention is definitely the staff. Honestly one of the biggest highlights of the trip—super friendly, helpful, and they made us feel welcome the minute we arrived until checking out. The food was another huge win. Massive compliments to the executive chef because the quality was consistently amazing every day. The island itself is the perfect size to explore without feeling rushed, but staying around the resort was just as good. The nature feels genuine and not overly manicured, the water is incredible, and being able to just swim out to a great reef right off the beach was a massive plus for us. If I’m being completely honest, a couple of the buildings and infrastructure bits could do with a slight touch-up. But genuinely, it didn't take away from how comfortable and well looked after we were. Would definitely recommend it and would happily come back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at your hotel and enjoyed every moment of it. Everything was perfect — from the beautiful atmosphere to the excellent service and hospitality. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would especially like to mention Melly, who deserves a special thank you. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional, and always made us feel welcome. His warm attitude and excellent service really made a difference and made our stay even more memorable.
