I had a lovely stay at Ambre Hotel Mauritius and truly enjoyed the experience. The beautiful beachfront setting, peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent hospitality made my stay very memorable. Everything was well taken care of, and the team went out of their way to make the experience special. I would also like to give a special thanks to Mr. Dhiren for his thoughtful gesture. He kindly organised a small birthday cake for my wife, even though it was a belated celebration. It was such a sweet and unexpected surprise, and I really appreciated the effort and personal touch. 🎂❤️ These small gestures are what make a stay feel truly special. Thank you to Mr. Dhiren and the entire team at Ambre Hotel for making my stay enjoyable and memorable.

A Truly Phenomenal Stay at Ambre My stay at Ambre was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we entered the property, we were welcomed so warmly. Mr. Singh was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the reception team made us feel comfortable right from the start. The first impression of the property was simply breathtaking. The view from the entrance, the beautiful pool, and the overall setting left me genuinely stunned. I was so happy with our decision to choose Ambre for our stay. Our room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. It was a little bit of a walk to reach the room, but honestly, the pathway and surroundings made the walk enjoyable and added to the whole experience. There was something so peaceful and beautiful about walking through the property. The poolside bar was another highlight, especially in the evenings when there was good music and a lovely atmosphere. Spending afternoons soaking up the sun on the sunbeds and then star-gazing at night was such a beautiful experience. These little moments made the stay truly memorable. The staff deserve a special mention because most of them were incredibly kind, hospitable, and attentive. Angie from the beach restaurant was exceptionally kind, and Amit was equally wonderful—both were warm, helpful, and excellent at their jobs. Rosie was also very kind to us, as were Nicoletta and the entire team at Indigo Restaurant. Their hospitality really added to our experience. There was, however, one interaction that I feel is worth mentioning. A staff member at Dolce vita Restaurant, whose name I believe was Tashir, came across as rather unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable. Since we do not drink, we chose food from our half-board options instead of ordering drinks. We felt that his attitude changed after this, and the interaction unfortunately came across as discourteous and, at times, discriminatory. I hope the management takes such feedback constructively, as every guest deserves to feel equally welcomed and respected regardless of their choices. Apart from this one experience, everyone else we encountered was incredibly kind, generous, and welcoming. Overall, Ambre is an amazing property with beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality, and an unforgettable atmosphere. I would definitely choose Ambre again if I return to Mauritius. The wax was good and professional but the hard wax product is not ideal. A better wax product should be sought.
