Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

Our overall experience at Heritage Awali Resort in Mauritius was good, particularly regarding the accommodation and general services. We also appreciated the management’s positive approach when dealing with comments and problems, and we found them cooperative in trying to resolve issues faced by guests. Regarding the food, however, we felt that it did not meet our expectations. Of course, this is a personal opinion, and other guests may have a different experience. It is worth mentioning that the resort offers several restaurants and a variety of dining options. There are also some important points that we believe deserve attention. The swimming pool did not have a lifeguard, and we did not notice clear signs on the beach indicating the level of danger or swimming conditions. This is particularly important for families and children. The rooms were generally good, although we noticed that the upper floors do not have elevators, which can be quite difficult, especially for children and elderly guests. Overall, we would say that the resort provides a good accommodation experience, with several positive aspects, although there are areas that could be improved, particularly regarding safety, accessibility, and food quality. We especially appreciated the management’s positive response and willingness to address problems and guest feedback, which is an important part of the overall guest experience.

A Wonderful Stay at Awali Resort I had a wonderful experience at Awali Resort. From the moment we arrived, the warm Mauritian hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. The resort is set in a beautiful location, with stunning beaches, lush surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. A special mention goes Jérôme Carlier the GM of the Hotel, Jean Paul, Rohit a promising Sommelier, Vicky, Jimmy and to all the staff, who were friendly, attentive and professional throughout our visit. Their genuine smiles and willingness to help really made a difference. The food and overall resort experience were excellent, with plenty of options to enjoy during the stay. The beach and facilities are also perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the beautiful Mauritian surroundings. Overall, Awali Resort is a great place for a relaxing holiday in Mauritius, whether you are travelling as a couple, with family or simply looking to disconnect and enjoy the island. I would definitely recommend Awali and look forward to coming back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇲🇺

We’ve just returned from Heritage Awali after a 10 night stay as a family of four. This hotel is exceptional. The staff go above and beyond. There is an amazing kids club and our children volunteered to go in the evening! The food is great including at the buffet (the themed nights were brilliant). We also loved the BOMA experience. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel for a little slice of paradise!

We stayed here from the 20th–23rd of August to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday, and what a lovely stay it was! We were warmly welcomed with the sound of beating drums, which was such a lovely touch. From the moment we arrived, all the staff made us feel at home; never over the top, but always around whenever we needed anything. The food was delicious and plentiful. Zenzibar had great vibes in the evenings, while Infinity Blue was the perfect spot for lunch. The kids absolutely loved the kids’ club, and our rooms (9104, 9103 & 9102) were perfectly placed - close enough to everything, but far enough from the pool and main areas to be lovely and quiet. There was also plenty to keep everyone busy during our stay. We enjoyed a few rounds of golf just a few minutes from the hotel, as well as bike rides, tennis and some relaxing time in the hammam and sauna. It was a great balance between activities and simply switching off. A special thank you to Jean Paul & Jerome for the warm welcome, and to Tarvin & Dass for the extra-special F&B service. You all made our stay that much more memorable. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Heritage Awali was amazing from start to finish. We loved every aspect of the hotel from the beautiful atmosphere and comfortable and clean rooms to the grand and incredible variety of food. One of the many things that stood out at Awali was the friendliness of the staff who were all so welcoming, kind and helpful and helped us make our stay even more special. We also very much appreciated how accommodating the chefs were with catering vegetarian options for us. They were constantly willing to cater our needs when eating at a predominantly non-vegetarian restaurant such as Infinity Blue or C beach. The culinary experience was delicious throughout with such a great variety of options throughout our stay at all the restaurants. We were also highly impressed by the cleanliness standard the hotel is kept to. Everything was beautifully maintained and kept the high standards expected when booking a 5*. Overall, we absolutely love our stay at Heritage awali and will definitely be returning in the near future.
