Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

My fiancée and I had a fantastic dining experience at Zafarani Restaurant. The food was absolutely excellent, and the welcome we received was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Chef Harjit Singh for the delicious food and to Yocishni for her lovely, attentive service. They both made our evening very special. We highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful stay in this hotel. Amazing staff, their natural friendly appearance and approach, educated and all multilingual, perfect clean rooms, swimming pools with cooler and pool with warm water, amazing and tasty food, their amazing restaurants and variety of wines, sweet and warm music evenings, tennis courts, bicycles, golf, wonderfull SPA ...(10/10). Will be back ASAP.

We recently spent two nights at Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort with family to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and overall, everything was wonderful from start to finish. A special thank you to the team at Zafarani Restaurant, especially Yovishni, who went above and beyond to arrange a beautifully decorated table and a surprise birthday cake for my mum. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches made the celebration truly special and created memories we will cherish. A heartfelt mention also goes to Mr. Ramana, who was incredibly humble, warm, and attentive throughout our stay. He regularly checked on guests and ensured everyone felt welcomed and well looked after. A special thank you to our room attendant, Sheila, whose housekeeping service was outstanding. Our room was always spotless, beautifully presented, and refreshed with great care. Her friendliness and dedication did not go unnoticed and added to the overall comfort of our stay. I would also like to recognise Assistant Manager Mr. Begue for his exceptional customer service. I had invited a guest to join us during our stay, and rather than charging the standard day package rate, he kindly accommodated our request and allowed our guest to simply pay for what was consumed. This thoughtful and flexible approach was greatly appreciated and truly reflected the resort’s commitment to guest satisfaction. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds, well-maintained facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for families. One area where I believe there is room for improvement is at Infinity Blue Restaurant. Unfortunately, our interaction with Jean Marie ( waiter) was disappointing. I felt that he could benefit from additional hospitality and customer service training, particularly when interacting with elderly guests. The way he spoke to my mum came across as rude and lacked the warmth and respect that we experienced from every other member of staff during our stay. Another suggestion would be to incorporate more Mauritian music and culture into the evening entertainment programme. On Saturday evening, when the entertainment shifted towards local music, the atmosphere became even more vibrant and enjoyable. It was wonderful to see guests of all nationalities filling the dance floor and embracing the local culture together. Showcasing more of Mauritius’ rich musical heritage would make the guest experience even more authentic. Despite this one disappointing interaction, the outstanding service from the rest of the team far outweighed it. Thank you to everyone at Heritage Awali for making our family celebration so memorable. We look forward to returning and would happily recommend the resort to others.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The location was convenient and offered beautiful surroundings, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist, making us feel valued from check-in to departure. We also found the overall experience to be excellent value for money.
