Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

Stayed at Heritage Awali whilst travelling the Island golfing. Perfect destination for me and enjoyed my stay so much. Dined most in Zafarani restaurant and thanks to the team, including YoYo for looking after me so well. Also the main bar staff were great. Thanks again to everyone. Mr G.

This was our 4th time at Awali and we go back for a very good reason. The staff, the location, the food, the heated pool, the most comfortable room/beds. This hotel is by far one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. From check in to check out we are completely satisfied with everything. You can use next door's hotel Telfair for breakfast and luch and it is included in the AI package which just gets you out of Awali on the odd occasion. You can access the next door hotel by walking through the grounds or taking a stroll along the beach. We went with our three children and I must say they always have the best time. The breakfast has such an amazing variety and always feels top quality. The lunch we have at the beach restaurant is insanely good and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

We have just arrived back in Germany, but we will certainly never forget our time at the Heritage Awali. Delicious food, great drinks, and a beautiful beach (perfect for snorkeling, too). The hotel itself is not only lovely but also full of charm and character. For my wife and me, it is definitely our favorite hotel so far. You feel at ease immediately, and before long, right at home. And there is a very simple reason for this: the people—whether at the bar, in the fantastic Indian restaurant, on the beach, or simply on the way from the room to the gym. Everywhere you look, there are smiling faces, friendly greetings, kind words, and a palpable desire to make guests happy and ensure they have the best possible time. That is exactly what makes the difference between a nice vacation and a fantastic one. Our absolute highlights were the meal in the wine cellar on our wedding anniversary and the surprise menu on our final evening. Thank you so much for these unforgettable memories; we will be talking about them for years to come. Special thanks go to the sommelier, who was responsible for both highlights and truly moved us to tears on the last night; to our server at the Zafarani restaurant, who charmed us with her personality; and to the bar manager, who—while perhaps slightly overwhelming us with countless unsolicited shots at an early hour—also made us laugh. I could mention so many other people, but that would go beyond the scope of this review. If we ever travel to Mauritius again, the Heritage Awali is a definite choice, and we recommend it without reservation.

I would highly recommend this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The staff were always pleasant, attentive, and courteous, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. No matter what we asked for, they made every effort to accommodate us with a genuine smile. It was this level of hospitality and personal attention that made our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely come back again and would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with excellent service.
