LUX* Belle Mare

Had a very amazing experience. The indian chef Mahabeer and his team’s hospitality was amazing. Had some really delicious dishes from them.

We spend a wonderful 8 days at Lux* Belle Mare and enjoyed just everything about this lovely place. Starting from the open entrance, the large pool surrounded by palm trees, the beautifully designed room the variety of excellent food and drinks, the beach and the sea. And then of course, the outstanding service all over the place, which I have not experienced anywhere else so far at this level. As we booked the Hotel directly, many really nice benefits have been included which made our trip an outstanding experience. This is a clear recommendation and we will surely be back at some point in time.

So TL;DR one if not the best accommodating resorts we have ever been in, with great food and even grater staff, a most stay if you are in Mauritius !!! So first things, first we were welcomed with a hot towel and 2 tropical drinks, and did our check ins. The rooms were huge with a large deck pointing to the beautiful garden, with a a delicious fruit basket. The resort offers a huge pool area, a well equipped gym, and even a yoga area, and also sea water activities all included (when it's not raining 😅) The resort also offers a pletera of activities including Volleyball, Arts, Billiards, Tennis, Pickle ball, Chess and also PS5. Special thanks to Jean Paul, Chef Nancy, and Head Barista Billal and Krissan for an amazing coffee and teaching us their brewing technics and for all of them for the incredible treatment during our Honeymoon, they made us feel special and like royalty, look no further and book this hotel we can't recommend this place enough.

From the arrival, the whole welcoming team is great. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff put you at ease. Every queries are rapidly and smoothly tackled. The rooms are amazing and luxurious. Foods never disappoint and there is a wide variety of food at the buffet. Big thank you to Mr Nuthoo and Mrs Komal for making this experience better. As for the honeymoon gifts, they are unexpected and heart warming. Best honeymoon destination in Mauritius.
